Disney on Ice

This past Sunday, Ry and I took the girls into Brooklyn to see Disney on Ice.  I get free tickets through my work for things at the Barclay center (SCORE!), so we got a free suite!  It was awesome.  Whereas we wouldn't have brought Ash, since she's a maniac, we figured, since we're in a box, she can walk around, no problem.  She ended up being so into it and didn't move off my lap, the entire 2 hours!  Getting antsy towards the end, but still. 

We decided to drive in since it was around Ashley's nap time.  Luckily, both the girls napped.  Mya woke up and was super excited to be in New York City (she kept calling it that).  Once we got into Brooklyn, we told her we're in Brooklyn now.

 We got there and they were so enthralled with the ice.  Mya kept telling us she wanted to go down there and skate with the princesses.  Sorry boo, not this time.

 I tried to get them to smile, Ash wouldn't even turn around to look at me.

The show started, the girls were in awe.  Mya didn't move and Ash sat on my lap for almost the entire 2 hours!!!

Now, since we didn't pay for tickets and actually scored with parking cause we got a spot across the street.  It was free (no meters) since it was Sunday too.  So we told the girls, they could both pick out one thing.  What did they both choose, snow cones in those souvenir cups.  They both wanted Tinkerbell too.  Good, now they couldn't fight over what the other one got.  How much did they cost do you ask?  $15 each! JESUS, these places make a damn fortune!  Whatever, the ice took them forever to eat, and kept Ash happy too.  Here's Mya with hers.
