Memorial Day

This memorial day we decided we were going to head down the shore.  It wasn't supposed to be an amazing beach day, but we just bundled up and headed down.  We hit NO traffic, apparently, no one wanted to sit on the windy beach.  Fine with us!
We got there and the girls were so eager to get on the beach.  It was the first time we were going to hit up the beach this summer!!!  YAY!!!
 Lets go sissy.
 love when they hold hands.
So ready to get onto the beach.
I love her in hats, too bad she never leaves them on.
The second Ashley's little piggies hit the sand, she turns to me and says, take my shirt off! lol
We get down, set up and Mya goes down to get shells.
Still waiting to walk down to the water.
This could would stay at the beach all day if we asked her to.
...so would this girl!  LOVE my beach bums!
 Me and my girl
The water was numbing, but we still put our feet in.
 Ash was too cold!
As the morning went on, it got chillier.  Good thing we had some sweatshirts with us.  The beach is still so fun even when it's chilly.  You can always build sand castles on the beach!
LOVE this pic.
Mya wanted to take our pic.
 Smooches for Ash.
Nona and Dewey didn't even bring their bathing suits.
 Ash never cooperates for pics.
After the beach, the Osmond's invited us over for a little BBQ.  They live so close to the beach, so it was literally a 10 minute ride to their house.  I'm so glad we went, the girls have so much fun playing together.  They have a great swing set in their backyard.  And it was amazing, just getting off the beach and it was much warmer.
Mya loves pushing people on the swings.
Kel pulled out all the ride on toys.  Mya and Gracie went cruising in the Escalade.  Mya was running into everything.  YIKES to our future.
Lily is so chunky and delicious.
When Hurricane Sandy happened, a big tree fell down in their backyard.  As Tony was taking the rest of the branches and whatnot down, he left this little stump for his girls and put little indents in for stairs.  Gracie climbed right up and sat down in her little seat, so sweet!
 Monkey bars...
...of course Ash had to try too.
CAN'T get enough of this pic!
 The girls lunching.
We had so much fun with you guys.  Thanks for having us and feeding us!  Love you tons and hope to do more of this this summer.  xoxo
And on this holiday, let us not forget the true heros of the US, especially my brother, Pete.  Thank you for all of the military, who have served or are serving.  What you do is truly amazing.
