Oh Christmas tree....

For the past few years, we've been going on the weekend after Thanksgiving to get our Christmas tree.  There is seriously nothing better than having the house all decorated for Christmas and the first thing that needs to be done, in my eyes, is to get the tree!  That smell, the lights, decorating, pure joy!  We set out, to the same place we've been going to the past 5 years as well!  Happy Acres!  All ready to go, in the new whip (which is another story).

Thanksgiving....

Thanksgiving, seriously one of my favorite holiday's of all!  Getting together with family to enjoy a meal and wine and laughs and not having to worry about the gifts that come along with Christmas.  Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas and gift giving, but it's nice to not have to worry about that stuff.  We had a full day planned which was fun. 

Off we go....

 

 We started out at breakfast at Nunu and Pop Pop's house.  Lots of smiles with Uncle Michael and Auntie Laura, they are a favorite in our house for sure!

I wish I could fit the file that has the girls video they made that night.  Grace and Mary Kate have been making these music video's and it's seriously the cutest and funniest thing EVER!  On Thanksgiving night, the girls all made one together for the song, all about that base.  It's FREAKING HYSTERICAL!  I need to find a way to get it on here!

Happy 34th Birthday to my main man

My babe turned 34 on November 20th!  How does time keep going by so fast?  How do we keep getting older?  I just don't get it.  I really am enjoying every second that I get with you and our amazing little family, but wish we didn't have to age numerically.  THANK GOD you'll ALWAYS be older than me :)

To ring in the big 3-4, we had some family over on your actual birthday.  Since Michael had class, we got to celebrate 2 days in a row! 

Thursday my family came over.  The girls helped him open his gifts.

Friday night we celebrated not only Ryan and Michael, but Laura too!  Her birthday is on the 19th!  We played some Jenga, a recent favorite in our house.

And sang nice and loud for them all.

Saturday I was surprising Ryan with an afternoon out.  My parents took the girls overnight, THANK YOU!  I was planning on starting the afternoon off at Kane Brewing company.  It's in Ocean but when we were on our way, I noticed that I forgot my damn wallet.  UGHHHH! We had to turn around and drive 30 minutes back home.  By the time we would have gotten there, the place would have been closed so we headed to stop #2, which was the shooting range.  Once we got there and he knew that we didn't make it to Kane, he told me it was better off cause drinking then shooting isn't really the best idea!  LOL!  whoops!  Just trying to think of his favorite things, lol! 

So, we started out at the range with a .22 cal revolver.  This is the first time I have ever shot a real gun.  Ry taught me all about it too, how to load it, hold it, aim it, shoot.  At first I just wanted to shoot, but I'm glad he made me listen to his whole speech that my Uncle Joe had taught him when he took him a while back.

Next up Ry had me go first.  He showed me how to load the gun and all that fun stuff.  This time we did a .40 cal semi automatic.  I was kinda expecting the same deal here, power wise.  I didn't know it'd be more.  When I fired my first shot, HOLY CRAP!  It had a kick back for sure, it was louder and was just definitely more powerful.  I felt so freaking bad ass!  I was in there with my leather jacket, red lips, 6 inch heels, I felt like Erin from Chicago PD.

After this we headed to 3 West in Basking Ridge to stuff our faces.  That place is so freaking amazing!  We had a blast.  Love you babe, hope you had a great time celebrating your 34th year.  xoxo

All I want for Christmas is my bottom, middle tooth....

So, a few weeks ago Mya told us that she had a loose tooth.  It was the cutest thing ever to see how excited she got over it too.  Day after day, it'd become looser and looser.  She was constantly wiggling it and playing with it.  On Sunday, November 16th, it finally fell out as she was coloring at the kitchen table.  She was so excited and couldn't wait to put it under her pillow that night for the tooth fairy. 

 At Costco that afternoon, I just couldn't help but snap another pic.  She's looking so grown up to me lately.

 She got a $2 bill from the tooth fairy, sprinkled with fairy dust (spray glitter, lol thank you Pinterest).

Apparently she has 4 more loose teeth now.  I don't feel them moving at all though.

Frozen on ice

Every year Disney has a Disney on ice show.  Every year I get free tickets through my job when it's at Barclay (thank you PVH!).  This year was no different and it happened to not just be Disney on ice but Frozen on ice!  I think Ry came one year, but since then Mags has been my 4th, who loves it just as much (if not more) than the girls.

Getting a little smarter through each visit, I realized we need to buy our plastic crap outside of the Barclay, so the girls picked out these swords.

 They started out by bringing out Mickey/Minnie and a ton of other characters, including other princesses. 

 After that short piece, the movie basically started.  It was so super cute.  Much better than any of the other Disney on Ice's we've ever been to I think.
