the next Pele...

Well she may not be the next Pele, but she had so much fun this season.  It started off slow and she wasn't really feeling it, but I wouldn't let her quit just cause she didn't want to go.  She made a commitment and I wanted her to know that you can't quit.  This is what she wanted to do, so we stuck it out.  I'm so glad I did that too cause she really ended up loving it.  She was so excited for the last 2 sessions cause those were her games.  So, instead of breaking the post up into 2, I just waited so I could combine them from the past 2 Saturday's.
So, all ready for the start of the game, creating teams.  They had the girls at 1 and the boys at 2.  All the girls got there and they split them into 2 teams.
Warming up a bit.
Practicing shooting into the goal.  They literally never did this during practice.  Which I thought was lame and be hard for the kids to get during the games, but it was fine.  It was actually funny cause at the start of the game, the ref put the ball down and the other team kicked it all the way into our goal.  On our team, not one of the players moved.  They just stood where they were told to start.  Everyone was screaming, run after the ball, it was hysterical.  Luckily after that play, they all got busy and won!
A little pep talk while waiting to get subbed back in from Aaron (Mya's friends dad, our neighbor).
The chick with the ball was a BEAST and literally ran the field.  Luckily she was on our team the first week and we won!!!  I can't say the same about this past Saturday though.
Mya and Maddie being super cute on the sideline.
hugs
giggles
She was not a fan of playing defense while the ball was in play on the other side of the field.  So her and the other little girl just chatted the whole time, lol.
Throwing the ball in.
Getting a pep talk from one of the coaches.
Mya had lots of fans both weeks.  My parents, Pete, Shell & Ava, Mags and Ashley came the first week.  Ava wanted to run on the field.
Mya wanted to be goalie.  So the coach put her in.  I was a little nervous, but when the ball came down and the other team went to score, she kicked the ball out so hard, not letting them score.  I was so freaking proud, I started crying!
The little goalie.
End of the game and giving the other teams a high five...
....when she recognized her friend, Ivy, from practice.  It was so cute!
YAY!
All done and checking out Sky Sky in her stroller.
My and Auntie Shell.
And with Mags.
This was the 2nd and last game played this past Saturday.  Another day with tons of fans to come see her including the Leonhardts, Pete, Shell & Ava, Mary, Joe, Mags, Joey, Alexis & JoJo, Frank, Beth, Jon and Diane.  Thank you all so much for coming and supporting the bean, she was so happy that you all took your time out to come see her and cheer her on!!!!
Before the game smiles.
Reesie made a sign for Mya that she was holding and screaming GO MYA with!  SO CUTE!
Alexis and JoJo made a sign too!!!  Lots of glitter and love.  She has them hanging in her room!  xoxo
Making silly faces at me during warm ups.
And from the sidelines!
 Lets do this!
 Cutie pie
 Ready to run!
 halftime pep talk.
And a few videos.

So sad Ry couldn't make either of the games.  But Mya wore her I love my daddy shirt under her uniform at the last game.
So proud of my little 'nipper'!  Love you so much and can't wait to see you excel in other activities.  xoxo
