Jenks with my favorites

Family is the most important thing in my life, my family couldn't be replaced and is seriously my #1.  Being that Ryan's been working so much overtime lately, we haven't been spending lots of family time together, which has been crappy.  He's such a dedicated and hard worker, and I'm so lucky that the girls see that of him, but DAMN I miss my babe.  This past Sunday he had off, WHOOHOOO!! In honor of having a day off and the start of his birthday week, we decided to head down to Point and hit up Jenks Aquarium.  It's one of our favorite spots, well one of the girls' at least and we just LOVE to watch them explore and have fun. 

We headed down and when we got there, I got Mya out of the car and Ry got Ash out.  We started walking up, Ry had Ash in his arms and I was walking with Mya.  Mya said to Ry, "Daddy, can you hold me?"  I chimed in and said, "Mya I'll hold you."  Mya responded, "no, I want daddy." *MELT*  Well that's exactly what Ryan did and scooped her up faster then I could say anything else.

 Then, in we go!  Ash was LOVING the fish and sharks and would point to them and say, "Mommy, that ones you."  "Daddy, there you are."  It was so stinkin cute!  Of course, I was the bad ass shark!

 This is the best I got.  Ash never looks and Mya's got the fakest smile.  Better luck next time!

 My life is now complete, seriously this pic MELTS ME!  And it absolutely makes me realize that life is going by so fast.  In the blink of an eye these girls are going to be teenagers and I want to be sure I cherish every waking minute I have with them.  They truly mean the world and then some to me. 

 We were even there to see the penguins get fed.  The penguins are, by far, Ashley's favorite part!

 We got upstairs and the girls had to wash their hands if they wanted to use the touch tank.  So once they got all washed up, they came over and neither of them would put their hands in, LOL!  They starfish were so pretty in there.

Disney on Ice

This was the 2nd year I got free tickets from my company for Disney on Ice at the Barclay center.  We get seats in a suite and all, it's pretty dope.  We were super excited to go last Thursday night.  Unfortunatley Ry had to work late but Mags came.  It was actually alot of fun to have a girls night at Disney on Ice!

It took SO long to get into Brooklyn.  We got there and no more than 10 minutes later the show started.  Before it started Ash and Mya were just checking out the rink.

Ash took a seat on my lap.  This was her reaction when the lights went out and the show started.  She must have stayed like this for a good 5-10 minutes, PURE AMAZEMENT!

It's so nice to be in the suite cause Ash doesn't really like to sit still.  There are 2 rows of seats and it's a first come first serve type thing.  So we got there after the first family and there were only 3 seats left in the front.  So Mags and Mya were down there, with another little girl.  Then Ash kept going up and down and sitting on my lap and Maggie's.

Intermission and we went downstairs for cotton candy that Mya was begging for the entire first half of the show.

The cotton candy came with Mickey Mouse ears that the girls were happy to share.

Mya literally went crazy with the cotton candy.  Her hands were so freaking sticky, it was nuts.  Thank god we just got one huge bag for them to share.  Ash wasn't even really into it.

a kiddie filled weekend

My weekend was filled with kids, which I is just perfection!  It started on Friday night when we went to our neighbors for a play date.  Jenny, the mom and a teacher, introduced the girls to a shaving cream table.  I was impressed with it.  Ash took her shirt off, typical.  And they got busy real quick.

They were playing for awhile and we kept putting more and more on the table.

They were done after about 15-20 minutes.  It got EVERYWHERE!!!! 

But they had so much fun.

After they all got into the tub (which I should have gotten pics of!), they came to play with Sky.  She is SUCH a doll.

Saturday was the soccer game then the Leonhardt girls came over for a play date.  I got no pics of that.  After they left, our neighbors came over for me to babysit.  They had an awards dinner for her husband.  The girls play so good together that I didn't mind watching them AT ALL.  Plus, Skylar is the sweetest, chillest baby.  I had to send some pics to Jenny.

Ash wanted to play in the infant car seat.  And yes, Ry got home around 7!

Meanwhile, Ash and Jack snacked some more.  Ash is my little nudist.  This kid is probably seen more in her undies then her clothes.  And yes, that's her in undies.  She's been potty trained now for 2 weeks!  Like, even sleeps in undies potty trained.  She goes hard!

What a fun weekend.  So glad I got to spend it with so many fun and adorable little kids.
