The bunny rabbit blues

SO, Mya's first year of ballet has come to a close (well it is this Saturday, June 15).  The recital was on June 2nd and we got 6 tickets.  Since Mya was late to start the class (it started in September and she didn't start until the beginning of March) she didn't get her costume until the day before the recital.  Thank god everything fit perfectly!  Since all the other girls got to try theirs on, during the class they got it, Miss Rebecca, let her do the same!  She couldn't be happier!!!
YAY, we got our tickets!!!
They broke the recital up between 3 shows so we weren't there all day long.  Mya's started at 12.  We got there around 11:30 and came inside to get all dressed to go!
All ready!!!
I just can't even take her.
Waiting for the previous show to get out so she can go backstage with her girls.
It was time to walk her backstage.  She was excited, anxious.  I was nervous cause she didn't make the dress rehearsal.  UGH, long story short, we never received the email that dress rehearsal was that Friday.  That's when they took the group photo's and got to practice ON stage at the theater (needless to say, I was PISSED).  I was nervous she was going to freeze during the performance.  So when I walked her back, I lifted her up to show her, through a window in a door, the stage. I said that's where you get to perform and mommy and daddy will be sitting in those seats.  "Ok mommy."  I was catching somewhat of a nervous vibe from her.  We didn't see any of her other bunnies or her teacher, so I think that had something to do with it.  I was ready to drop her in and wanted to snap one last pic.
Then, out came some of the other girls from her class that were there already, whew!  That calmed her and she was so excited!
Ash was restless!  Thank god Mya was the 2nd performance out of 22.  Once she saw Mya on stage she goes, nice and loud, "There's MYA!"  Then every performance after that, when the curtains opened she'd say, "where's Mya?"  It was cute.
Nunu and the bunny!
The finale, all the girls got to go back out to bow.  Mya was SO excited to go onto the stage with the big girls.  She's the 3rd one in from the left.  After they bowed, they bought the oldest girls out, who started dancing to some song.  They were the seniors so they were going all out.  It was SO cute cause the little bunnies started dancing behind them.
Mya and Mimi with Mya's new bunny that matched her costume.
Daddy got Mya a trophy, she was so excited!

Another family pic, Ash doesn't like to cooperate, as usual.  Come on girl, SMILE!
*MELT*
Nona walked us to the car cause she wanted her to open her present, new ballerina sheets for her bed.
Mya and Nona.
I didn't get a pic of just me and the bean there, so I had daddy take one when we got home.
We're so so so proud of you Mya.  We had such a great time watching you from the audience and it was seriously just the cutest thing I've ever seen.  I love you sweet bunny!  xoxo
