Trunk or treat

This is the first year we got to participate in a trunk or treat.  It was SO MUCH FUN!  We have never done this so didn't really know what to expect.  We decided to team up with 2 other families from Mya's class to just decorate 1 car, which helped out a ton!   Some of the cars were set up so crazy, it was awesome.  The school also had a DJ there and were also doing a tricky tray, which is just like a raffle to win prizes, which Mya won one!!!
Here we are, ready to go!
After the car was set up, we Mya and Ash and some of Mya's class buddies.
 Off they go.
 Ash was having a BLAST!
This set up was sick!  They had this huge blow up thing....
The dudes inside were all dressed up with smoke machines and it was all decorated.
Outside was a coffin that this dude was jumping out of with candy.
The girls even got down to the music!

Break for some candy.
 cuties
Mya went to the bathroom which naturally means it's time for Ash to sugar up with some pixie sticks!
All in all it was an amazing night.  They got SO MUCH candy, we didn't even need to go trick or treating on Halloween (but we did anyway, of course!).  Can't wait till next year too!

Happy birthday Stelio & Pano....

So, Mya made a best friend at school, the first day (well really at her orientation).  I remember so clearly when she went into the classroom for orientation and they scooted the parents out.  I watched as she found a seat and it was just her and a little boy.  I felt kinda bad that no little girls sat next to her too but when I picked her up, she was so excited, "Mommy I met a friend!!!"  "He told me that his daddy can pick up a tree and throw it!"  "We colored and he can draw a teenage mutant ninja turtle, but he liked what I drew better."  So much talk about this little boy.  I asked her, what his name was and she couldn't remember.  I took her to school on her first day and even got to pick her up.  When I went to get her from the line, she said, "mommy, I want you to meet my friend."  She bought me over to him, I asked what his name was and he said Stelio (no wonder she couldn't remember, not your typical name).  From that day on, whenever I'd ask who she played with, she'd tell me, Stelio.  They were best buds, melted my heart.  Until one day, when Mya came home and told me, "Mommy, my heart is upside down."  I asked why and she said, "Stelio isn't in our school anymore."  I felt so bad for her, so I found his mom on facebook and wrote to set up a play date.  She was equally as thrilled that I reached out because the boys birthday was coming up and she had Mya's birthday invite on her kitchen counter.  Oh yea, another fun fact about Stelio is that he's a twin!  Which is the reason she pulled them from St Matthias, poor Pano, the twin, wasn't acting himself and it was the class he was in.  Not a place she wanted him to be so she had to pull both of them.
Mya was beyond thrilled that we'd be going to Stelio and Pano's party!!!!
We got there and they sat right down to eat together, they really have just the cutest little bond and play so nice together.
Mya told me he'd have his drum set there, I didn't believe her.  Ash was excited to get down!
The DJ was so cute and played so many fun games with the kids.
But first, lets all sing Let it go!
Next up, everyone got a mic and got down!!! Mya sure did!!!!
The girls were having such a great time.
Time to make the kids into mummy's, SO CUTE!
 Ash jumped in too.
so cute!
After that, it was a tp fight!  SO CUTE!
 I can't even take it.
 Happy birthday cuties.
After cake, they had one last game, musical chairs.  Now if this wasn't the cutest thing ever, I don't know what was.  Stelio and Mya walked right next to each other the whole time, when the music stopped, they would watch to make sure the other one got a chair to stay in.  There were a few times that Mya didn't and Stelio (or even Pano for that matter) would jump off their chair to let her jump on *MELT*  And if Stelio didn't get a chair, Mya would scoot over to let him kneel with her.  Seriously CUTEST.THING.EVER!
Birthday boy cuteness.
About to leave, but one more pic of these cuties together.
Gotta get Pano in there too!!!!
Mya got her, 'with the band' hat, that she immediately put on!
We all had so much fun.  Ry and I can't wait to get back to Teak for a date night, the food was slammin!  And Mya still talks about Stelio all the time.  Glad she got to celebrate his birthday with him and Pano!

Ashley's pumpkin patch school trip

Ash had her school pumpkin patch trip the day after Columbus day, of course I took off so I could go with her.  I wouldn't have missed it!  She was pumped that I was going too but kinda bummed that Mya had to go to school, lol!  We dropped Mya off together though, which was fun.
LOVE this sister bond they have.
We get to Ashley's school and this is hanging up, surprised?!
By her book bag hook.
We got to the pumpkin patch, it was so nice out!  On the hayride ready to go!!!!  It's so strange, none of the little kids interact with eachother.  In Mya's school they had friends already.  Ash does play with this little girl, Tessa, but she wasn't here today.

My girl.
At one of the stops to see a chicken that the farmer bought around.
She even pet him!
Time to pick out her pumpkin.  Took her SO long to find the perfect one for her.  She kept going for the green ones, would pick them up and they'd be all soft so she'd place them back down.
Just love my little pumpkin.
After the farm, we went back to the school and the kids played outside.  I stayed for about 5 minutes with her.  It wasn't easy leaving her, she was getting upset, but I didn't want to get her used to me being there.  Plus, all of the other parents had already left.
Waiting to get my little one and peeking in during circle time.
SO happy to be spending the afternoon together.
Went to get Mya and Ash wanted to peek into the classroom.  lol
We went right over to the park.  Ash was DYING to show Mya the new workout equipment she found the previous week.
It's never too early to have your kids know that working out is not only fun, but so important to leading a long and healthy life.  I'm so glad we give this to them.  They may not like it when we go to the gym, but sometimes they'll ask if they can come with us (which they can't cause there is no child care there).  Makes me happy to see that they are watching us and learning the importance of a fit lifestyle.
They climbed up, time to play.
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
She can climb up all by herself now, so crazy!
My little monkeys.
Love my girls so much.
I'm so lucky that I was able to spend the day with them (well Ash for the majority of it).  I seriously couldn't be happier when I get to see life through their eyes.  Keep smiling girlies.

Zoo fun

I had the day off for Columbus day on Oct 6th, WHOOHOO!!!!  Mya did too, so did my mom.  So we all planned to go to the Turtleback zoo.  It was PACKED, I guess a lot of people had the same idea.  It was so much fun though.
Seriously, my favorite animal to see, the jaguar!
Ash was pounding on the window like a nut.  CHILL!
My little prairie dogs!
On the train, that we had to wait so long for, but couldn't NOT go on it, it's the girls favorite part!
Nona with her girls.  LOVE!
We had so much fun, so glad my mom got to come with us too.  Special girls day with my favorite girls in the world.  xoxo
