BBQ #1

Here is the start of our BBQ filled 4th of July weekend. It all started at my parents house on Saturday. The weather was PERFECT and the bean had a BALL running around the backyard at my parents house. Here she is before we left the house. The cut on her lip scabbed up and she snuck a hair tie in her mouth, little stinker! The pigtails didn't last too long but really, how stinkin cute do they look?!?!!

She's got a car at home that has a hood that always fills with water when it rains. She LOVES splashing in it. My dad showed her that she could put water in the back of this car so she was watering her car here!

This might be Mya's 4th piece of the 1/2 corn on the cobs. She was LOVING it, which also meant her diapers were pretty much ears of corn the next day. LOVELY!

Friday night we had Ron and Brie's wedding. This was the FIRST night that Mya had a sleepover. WOW, it was great coming home after the wedding (getting a ride of course since we were both feeling way too good to drive) and sleeping in until 8am!!! Although, it was weird waking up without our little mama there, we definitely had fun!!!

Thursday night is man night for Ry so it's always Mya and I hangin out. I was going to take her to Thomas Sweets and knowing how much my parents LOVE Thomas Sweets I called them to see if they wanted to join us. They were going to the Patriots game to see Casey. They asked if I wanted to go and after going back and forth I decided, why not? It was BEAUTIFUL out and it would be nice to be outside to enjoy the weather. So off we went to Mya first baseball game (well 3 innings at least). I had to snap these few pics before we left cause she had me CRACKING UP. She wanted to put this on so bad, so of course, I put it on her, and she was just being a nut!!!

Than we saw Casey, Mya met Casey and he gave her a ball, it was so cute!!!! And she was LOVING that ball.

Time to go. Patriots were up 1-0 when we left, unfortunately they lost. I'm sure if Mya stayed though, they would have won!

crazy week

Last week was such a crazy week with accidents and booboos. Ryan started it off on Monday with a trip to medemerge and 4 stitches. He cut it on pipe at work at 7:30am but continued to work until noon, he's NUTS!!!!

Mya got pretty beat up this week too. It started on Wednesday when she took a trip down a stair, outside (which means she had a fight with the pavement). It wasn't pretty, Kristen, our neighbor, scooped up Mya faster than I could blink and passed her over. She was bleeding and hysterical. Since she wouldn't let me put any ice on it, we decided to take a trip to Thomas Sweets for the next best thing, ICE CREAM!!!! She was immediately all better! Here is was on Wedensday.

On Thursday night, when it was bed time, I got her bottle all ready. To get her bottle ready, we put 1/2 cup water into a mug, microwave for 2 minutes than place her bottle in there to warm up. Well I had it all ready, put the cup on the kitchen table and went to grab her stuffed animals. Well all of the sudden Mya started SCREAMING. She had pulled the glass down and the water burnt her chest and arm. Shes' screaming, I'm crying, I call Ry to tell him (since he's at man night), I told him and just hung up on him to call Mrs I (my best friends mom, who's a nurse). She told me what to do, luckily I had burn cream from burning myself on the iron a few weeks ago. My poor little girl, I felt SO bad. She's growing SO fast and I guess I just don't realize exactly how tall she is. I have FOR SURE learned my lesson with that one. BAD MAMA!
