Can Mya really be halfway to 5? JEEEEEZ! I seriously don't even believe that she's 4.5. She turned 4.5 on Oct 8th and, we had to have a mini celebration! We made muffins the night before and sang Happy half Birthday that morning.
SO, 4.5 beans! I can still remember the day that she made me a mommy (and I know I will never forget it). I remember her chunky little self coming out screaming! The first time I held her, kissed her, hugged her, cuddled her, what a memory. What an amazing feeling that is, and it doesn't get old. When she hugs, kisses and cuddles me now, I still feel so overwhelmed with love and I'm so grateful for her. She may be a bull at times, but this is who she is. She's very strong willed and I love that about her. She's super independent and seriously loves fashion. She has been picking out her own clothes for years now. Some days I'm quite amused by her choices, but I still let her rock it (most of the time) cause this is who she is. This is what makes her an individual and makes her happy. I love her for her, for her laughs, for her cries and for her everything in between.
What's she up to now? Well, she's in Pre-K 4 and loving it. I was at the pumpkin patch trip with her class last Wednesday and her teacher commented to me and another one of the mom's (of a girl in the class), how well the girls play together. There is no competition, no fighting, they all just play so so good. Made me so happy. She's making so many friends and she truly enjoys going to school. She's also playing soccer. When I asked her, at the end of the summer, what sport she wanted to do this year, I had mentioned ballet again, gymnastics, soccer, she immediately said soccer. She's getting more and more into it. The practices are kinda hard to get into cause it's very instructional, and by that I mean, the coach is explaining what to do, then the kids have to go back with their parents to practice the drill. Mya wants to play with the other kids, not me! But it's getting a little more involved and she only has 1 more practice, then her 2 games.
She's still an incredible eater, will really eat anything and everything!
She's so super sweet and cute with babies, it really makes me want another (ah hem, Ryan!). But that's not happening, anytime soon at least!
You are an amazing drawer and you are so good at coloring and your letters too. You are constantly asking to practice your letters and it makes me so proud.
Anyway, happy half birthday boo. We love you more than you'll ever know. Here are a few more pics from your half bday.
Holding Ash back from blowing the candle out.
We got her a new pair of princess heels for her half birthday. She couldn't wait to get them on, of course! LOL!
SO MUCH LOVE!
When I asked Mya what she wanted to do that night, she said, go for a walk. So out we went. Ash was thrilled!
Love you cutie pie. I seriously can't believe how old you're getting. This is going by way too fast, but I'm enjoying the ride!
