In the beginning of the summer, Kelly texted me a list of movies that Belmar puts on, on the beach, every Saturday, for free. When I saw the list, I immediately thought, we have to take Mya to the Brave viewing. She LOVES that movie and loves the beach too, so I knew that'd be a great combo. I thought that maybe we could bring Ash too, but since the movie didn't start till dusk, my mom said to just drop her there and she can hang with them and have a sleepover. So then I thought this would be an extra special night for the little bean.
We went down around 6, we decided we'd do the boardwalk, get some dinner, then hit up the movie. We got to Point and no joke, as soon as we got out of the car and paid for parking, it started down pouring. We immediately ran back to the car and decided, maybe we'll try and go to the Shrimp Box while it rains to just eat first. As soon as we pulled out of the parking lot, the friggin rain stopped! So typical. It didn't stop there, we got to the shrimp box and there was a 45 minute wait, YEA NO! So back to the boardwalk we went.
As soon as we got on, Mya wanted to go into the arcade. So that's where we went. She wanted to win a minion, didn't happen cause those damn things are rigged. She even had it in the claw!
But no worries cause she won TONS of candy!!!!
SO HAPPY!!!!
Then we played some games. Of course daddy picked the rollin on 24's one, which was lame.
Daddy and her raced a car. Daddy was the pedal while Mya steered. This kid is not a good driver, I'm scared.
We finished with a slot machine.
Next up, pretzels and a rollercoaster! She was hungry!
So excited for daddy to come with her.
It was kinda tight for Ry but he didn't care.
She also wanted a glitter tattoo.
She picked a blue and yellow fairy.
The little ferris wheel ride was fun too.

Time to head to the movie. We got there, got all set up and there was NO sound. We stayed for about 15 minutes, after which about 75% of the people left. Then the movie shut off, but they were still working on the sound, then the sound came on! We were so excited but they still shut it all down, GRRRR!!!!
Since we went all the way down for this reason, we decided to just stick around and eat all the junk food we got! Mya picked out sour patch kids, lol!
She even bought Rainbow Dash and set him all up with some of daddy's snapple and sour patch kids.
We still had fun!

We had such a fun time. Even though the movie didn't work, spending some QT with Mya was so much fun. She is growing so fast that taking the time to just focus on her one night and let her live it up was so needed. I can't wait to do this with Ash. xoxo
