egg dying fun

Onto Saturday night, time to dye our Easter eggs.  I boiled the eggs on Friday night so we could dye and decorate them on Saturday.  The girls were uber excited to dye them.  This year I got a ton of kool aid colors.  Next time I'll get more then one packet of the lighter shades since they weren't as vibrant.  I also had all these ideas of making glitter eggs, but that, as usual, fell through and I forgot about it when we got started.  Ash was at a good age this year to help out too.  Last year, she helped out too, but didn't last more then 5 minutes.  This year was a little better.
Daddy showing the girls how it's done.
Mya's ready to jump in!  This was round 2 as she was at Nunu and PopPop's that Wednesday dying eggs, Ash didn't help out on Wednesday.
Let's do it!
Ash was loving it.  Funny that the dye she was using matched her dress.  Mya's like a damn grown up these days.  She is so careful and good at these kinda things.  This kid loves arts and crafts.
After they were dyed, she wanted to write and color on them.  Whatever floats your boat kid.  Out came the markers, colored pencils, anything and everything really.
Of course Daddy made his perfect.
As did the bean.  Check out her flower!  SO PROUD!
She is so much like Ry, loves to draw.  I love it.
We had so much fun doing this.  Love these kinds of things that we get to do with the girls.
