livin like a bea...: Easter festivities

OK, major major photo overload on Easter day festivities. It was another fun filled day. As every year, we go to brunch at Babci's and dinner at my families. Nothing new this year.

The girls got their baskets out and had them all ready for the bunny.

He's gonna fill this all the way up, right mommy? LOL!

Since we didn't have any carrots (whoops), Mya said she wanted to leave him an oreo and a bunny marshmallow from the Duprees. The leopard fabric was his napkin, she said. And she even left him a note, which she signed from her and Ashley.

The girls couldn't wait to get downstairs to find their baskets that the bunny hid. But a few pics on the steps first.

The bunny only ate half of the oreo, no worries, while Mya found Ashley's basket and bought it to her, Ash finished the rest of the oreo and was onto the mellow.

Mya was still looking for her basket, when she noticed the curtain looked like it was super big (we may have happened to ask her since she couldn't quite find it!).

She got it! Here she's checking out Ashley's goods cause she already ripped through her basket.

Daddy got a balloon animal making kit! Funny story, so we were at Jack's bday party last weekend when a guy came doing balloon animals. Mya got a hat, but had originally said she wanted a heart. Since the guy had 1000 balloons to make for all the little kids he couldn't fix hers. I quickly said to Ry, come on I know you can do this! He googled it and made her a heart in no time. My joke was that, if he could do the heart, he could do anything. Since he's laid off right now, I'm gonna start renting him out for little kids parties, to paint faces and to make balloon animals. So luckily, the Easter bunny knew 'he' wanted them! He got them and immediately started! First up was a dog! I mean really, he's on his way to a second job!

Ok, after church, we headed straight to Babci's. Ash was already passed out when we got there. Ry picked her up and held her for the 20 minutes she slept when we were there. Love those sleeping faces.

Let the gift opening begin. Lori, our old neighbor (and Diane's co-worker) sent us some adorable little princess dolls for the girls. So sweet and thoughtful, THANK YOU!
