This past Saturday marked 4 years, to the day, that Pete joined the Marines. He's out now, of active duty, and home! We couldn't be happier. My parents had a party for him, to celebrate his 4 years. It's crazy to think that when he left, I was just about 2 weeks away from having Mya. Now, she's almost 4 and he's home! Can you believe this was 4 years ago? Well ok, so maybe that was 3 years and 9 months (but whatever). Pete has done alot in 4 years, then again so have we! I'm so glad you're home now. I couldn't be more proud to call you my brother. I love you so much and thank you for serving our country. There should be more people like you in this world. Love you so much. And even though you're a bad a$$ marine (well civilian now), you'll always be my crazy little brother.
Here's some pics from the party. The girls checking out the desserts, what else is new?
I really wanted to get a pic of the both of them, but Ash wouldn't look.
Here he be!
Ash and Uncle Pankie. She was too busy starring at the desserts.
Setting up the military men that my dad pulled out of the basement. We used to play with these when we were little.
Aunt Ann, Titi and the bean

Ash wanted to go for a ride in her car. I bundled her butt up cause it was kinda chilly out.
My cousin, Linda, came over with her kids too. Mya and Ash always have so much fun with them. Zach is such a cutie pie.
Hey there Ava!

Some of the kiddies playing in the sandbox. Who doesn't do this in the cold?
Uncle Jack joined in.
THENNNNN, Pete decided to throw his top into the fire pit. WTF? I started freaking out and was going to pull it out. He stopped me to inform me he had 3 other ones (THANK GOD!). Still, you're a nut, Pete!
nice
The kids staring in disgust!
Mya, whatever you do, NEVER do anything your Uncle Pete does, NEVER! LOL
burn baby burn
Little talk from Dew
Naomi got in the car and Ash decided to push her around. Work those legs girl!
Meanwhile, Mya and Tiana were doing the limbo!
Get low get low!
a little video of the limbo!
Ash and Zach were playing on the iPad.
And Naomi was reading Thomas a book, too cute!
Even Uncle Sammy was getting all cozy on the couch with Mya. This was SO CUTE!
Cousin lovin! LOVE!
So glad we got to celebrate with so many close friends and family. My dad even invited a friend of my brothers, Bibby, who was in the army. Frank and him used to be best buds and it was a fun surprise. Loved spending time with everyone and seeing all the kids together. Thanks for throwing the awesome party mom and dad, and thanks Pete, Shell and Ava for finally being back in NJ!!!!! Love you all so much. xoxo
