This past weekend was pretty eventful. It all started on Friday night with Uncle Michael. He came over for dinner and hung for a bit. Always a good time with you brotha, we missed you though, Laura. Sorry, no pics.
Saturday morning was packed with fun. We started with Mya's ballet class, then after headed over to Mya's friend, Lia's house for a play date, Ash came too. We had so much fun. Mya and Lia get along so well, and Ash had a great time playing with the big girls. Crumb cake time!
Then the girls got all dressed up and played. Even Ash, who was Merida and in all her glory!
Time to go. The girlies, they are so cute together.
Saturday was freaking GORGEOUS out. After we got home from the play date and Ash napped (passed out in the car on the way home actually). We decided to head outside for a bit to enjoy the sun. The girls wanted to ride the mini cooper, so they started by cleaning it off.
Working hard to find out the battery needed to be charged, sorry loves.
So, onto the next best thing. Mya took her scooter out and Ash sat in her car. I seriously can't believe that Ash sits still in this thing, love it.
These girls must have gone down this little 'hill' 20 times. Mya would ride down on the scooter and I'd (or Ry) push Ash down fast. OVER AND OVER AND OVER!
Daddy's turn!
Sometimes, Ash just doesn't want to walk in the same direction as us.
And just keeps going and going and going.
Love this girly girl.
Sunday Ry and I did a 20K (BOOOO FRANK!). It was in Johnson Park, so pretty much like backyard running for us, since that's where we always run. We have the Rutgers Unite half in April. This was a good warm up for that, plus it was gorgeous out. However, I really didn't want to do it. Ry, who had been drinking a little bit the night before, was fine, which is so typical. I don't know how he does it.
Finished in under 2 hours. Ry stayed with me for about half of it. He then went ahead and finished with a 9 minute pace. I surprised myself by finishing with a 9.24 pace!!! It was pretty crazy though when all the people are passing you. No joke, there were like 60 year olds who were flying past me. Makes me feel so outta shape. Ry would just keep saying, it's ok, we're still at a 9 minute pace. lol. I think I really want to do a full marathon in the next 2 years. Who's in??
Sunday afternoon, we headed over to Colleen and Brando's for a play date with Sophie. It's been so long since we've seen her. Mya and So So were playing on the ride on together, it was so cute.
Sophie's turn to drive!
Mya was sitting on it, Sophie hops on the front and they start talking, so cute!
I think the shades are a little small, boo.
Ashley was obsessed with this huge dog. Kept running over to it and hugging it, so cute.
Such a fun weekend. I hope that the weather breaks and we have more sunny days coming soon.
