Happy 1st Birthday Jack!

My godson, Jack, turned one last Friday.  Regan and John threw an awesome party on Sunday to celebrate the cutie pie.  We just took Mya since my parents asked if they could borrow one of our girls that day.  LOL, they were watching Ava and it's always easier to have 2 so that they can play together.  Plus, since it was at a restaurant, it was nice to just bring Mya, Ash is a little crazy (although they had the whole restaurant and a place to run around in, so Ash would have been fine). 

It was so cute, when we got there, Mya went right over to Gia and Avery and the 3 of them held hands in a circle, I wish I got a pic of it cause it was so funny!  I love seeing Mya and Gia together.  Reminds me of Regan and I.  A year apart and awesome friends.  Even though Mya and Gia don't see eachother as much as we'd like for them too, they always have a great time and play so good together.

We had so much fun celebrating you, Jack.  I can't believe you're already a year old, time flies.  We love you so so much and hope your first birthday was extra fun!  Can't wait to see you again so I can get some more snuggles and lovin in.  xoxo

Welcome home Pete!

This past Saturday marked 4 years, to the day, that Pete joined the Marines.  He's out now, of active duty, and home!  We couldn't be happier.  My parents had a party for him, to celebrate his 4 years.  It's crazy to think that when he left, I was just about 2 weeks away from having Mya.  Now, she's almost 4 and he's home!  Can you believe this was 4 years ago?  Well ok, so maybe that was 3 years and 9 months (but whatever).  Pete has done alot in 4 years, then again so have we!  I'm so glad you're home now.  I couldn't be more proud to call you my brother.  I love you so much and thank you for serving our country.  There should be more people like you in this world.  Love you so much.  And even though you're a bad a$$ marine (well civilian now), you'll always be my crazy little brother.

So glad we got to celebrate with so many close friends and family.  My dad even invited a friend of my brothers, Bibby, who was in the army.  Frank and him used to be best buds and it was a fun surprise.  Loved spending time with everyone and seeing all the kids together.  Thanks for throwing the awesome party mom and dad, and thanks Pete, Shell and Ava for finally being back in NJ!!!!! My mom's birthday was this past Monday.  We had the crew over to celebrate my wonderful mama!  Mya has been all about her letters lately (well all about her numbers too, she counts anything and everything).  She wanted to write out all of Nona's card, so we let her!  She did damn good too!!!!!
