Li-Li is 3!

I can't even believe that my youngest child is now 3!  Where does the time go?  I can still remember, SO vividly the Memorial day that she was brought into this world, like a whirlwind, which is exactly how this child is!  She is my little wild one, my free spirit, my sassy pants, my hard headed child that won't take no for an answer without making it known that she's NOT happy, she is my little love, my snuggle bunny, the one who HAS to have my arm under her head to fall asleep at night.  Words can't even explain the amount of love that I have for this child.  She is so loving and so tough at the same time.  My busy little child.
Some of the things she's been up to....
-She is very strong willed little girl.  If she wants something, she won't really give up the fight until she gets it.  And by fight, I mean the whining, crying, kicking and screaming!  And no, we don't give in, but she pushes and pushes.  Mya does usually give in, she's very patient with her.  I give her credit, cause if I was her big sister, I wouldn't.  We actually have to teach Mya not to always give in.
-If she loves you, she absolutely ADORES you.  She will cuddle you, snuggle you, kiss you and squeeze you.  If she doesn't know you, it takes a bit for her to warm up to you.
-Speaking of cuddles, at night, I put them to sleep and when doing so, my arm HAS to be under her head for her to pass out.  If she's laying down and it's not there, she'll sit up and say, "I want your arm."  It's pretty cute.
-She absolutely adores her sissy, Mya and really just is her biggest fan.  She wants hugs and smooches all the time and will ask to hold her hand if she's scared for something.  MELTS MY HEART!  Mya just loves it too, she's so motherly.
-Another funny fact about Ash.  At night when I read the 10000 books they pick out.  After the ones she's picked, she takes them after they're read and puts them under her pillow.  So strange, I swear!
-She's not an eater, except for the mornings I guess.  Dinner, she picks like a bird.  We make sure to try and get some veggies and protein in her in the morning so we don't care as much at night.  She does LOVE ice cream (who doesn't) and oreos.  She only eats the inside of the oreos and will give the cookie part to Mya or leave them on the ground where she was eating them.  She also loves chocolate milk.
-When relaxing or getting ready for bed, she plays with her belly button.  It's so freaking cute I can't take it!
-She likes to pick out her own clothes, another mini fashionista!  Kills me that they don't let me pick anymore.  And if she doesn't want to wear something or puts something on and doesn't like it, she'll say, "NO, I look like a boy."  It could be ALL pink and she'll say that.
-Her favorite color is blue.
-Her legs are SO skinny!  She could wear a freaking 2T but the length would be so short!  The other day she put a bathing suit on and the bottoms were 18-24 months!  She likes to mix and match bathing suits like Mya and I too.  She got a pair of hand me down heels from her cousin, SoSo a few months ago and was obsessed with them for a while but I had to hide them cause they are just too big for her.  That mixed with her tiny little legs and ankles, I thought she was about to break an ankle!
-She loves dress up.  Would wear princess dresses out if Ry let her, I usually do, lol!  She's not into arts and crafts just yet, or just not for long periods of time.  Cause she does like to paint, but for 10 minutes and she's done.  She'd much rather play in her kitchen or with the dr set.
-She's a bit scared of the water this year, which is kinda weird cause last year she really wasn't.  She doesn't like to get her head wet and I think that's the problem.  I think I need to dunk her or something to break this fear.  We went to the pool in our development the other day and it took her FOREVER to finally get in the pool and not be attached to me.  Once she was, she wouldn't stop jumping in (into my arms of course).  I let her jump once and go under and she about lost it, but she still got out and did it again.  She won't do swim lessons, which Ry and I bought for the girls this summer.  We got semi-private lessons, so it's just Mya and Ash, but Ash hasn't been participating so it's actually been private lessons for Mya (which I'll get to in another post).  We'll just save them to later in the summer I guess.
-She LOVES the beach, will run and play in the sand and run in the waves for hours.  And we never have to worry about her running INTO the water too far, as she really only likes to go get her toes wet and run back out.  So funny, sometimes she'll run from higher in the sand and run town screaming "CANNON BALL" but stop at the break of the waves!  LOL!  She also LOVES to be made into a mermaid on the beach.  She about died when Ry was made into a mer'man' right next to her, lol!  LOVE that she loves the beach so much.
Ok, onto her birthday.  I had off, Ry had to work.  I told her the whole week leading up, we can do anything you want Ash, what do you want to do?  One day she screamed, "GET TATTOOS!"  So that was one thing we did the morning of!  LOL!
But first to start with a little video of when she woke up...Mya and I had already been up for a bit and finally heard her jump out of bed.  By the time we got upstairs she had already come through her door (which we hung some balloons from for her to break through).  But she was so happy it was her birthday! Tried to capture the excitement since Ry wasn't home.
Before she got up, Mya and I were downstairs.  Mya made her about 100 cards and envelopes.
So ready for her sissy to get downstairs.
She's FINALLY downstairs!!!!!  And more than happy to start opening her gifts.
The karaoke machine was the biggest hit of them all.  I can't even take her!  My little rock star for sure!
Have to throw in this epic video.   OH YEAAAA!
The first of many happy birthday moments on her birth day!
Lots of wishes being made.
Had to make sure we got some fun and special tattoos, since that's what she wanted to do!
Dewey swung by before work to see his Li-li too.  He loves to let the girls listen to his jams...such a hippie this guy!
Lots of fun times we had that morning.  I am so lucky that I got to spend the whole day with her.  We missed daddy, but got to celebrate with him when he got home.  Onto the rest of the day....
