We've had quite the winter so far. We've already hit good ole red barn hill a few times and can't wait till we can again. The girls LOVE sleigh riding and the second they see a snow flake I feel like they're asking to go! So many memories of growing up and heading out, late night, with my dad and having him pick up friends along the way there. So, one of the first snow falls this season, on December 8th, we headed to red barn. The girls were beside themselves!!!

SNOWWWWWW
Daddy taking his girls down the hill. We were the ONLY ones there, it was pretty perfect.
Brings me back to my childhood, they keep us young!
Riding down.
WHOOOOHOOOO!!!!!
They have it made, getting rides up the hill and all.
Since this is basically Pete and Shell (and Ava's) backyard, they came by too. Ash wanted to go down with Uncle Pete.
2 days later, more snow....snowmen all around!
Mya named him lucky and he got lots of hugs and kisses.
CHEESE
Of course, she wouldn't smile till I walked away.
We also had quite the first week of January. I got a snow day on January 3rd! It was wicked cold out that day, but we did get out to red barn on Saturday, the 4th. Dewey and Nona joined us too!
DIVA!
Ash getting a ride to the slopes.
Mya is so independent and preferred to ride down solo.
I can't! A few videos to show you the fun we were having.
Ash was getting rides from everyone. Dewey and Ash raced Ry down.
getting up the easy way.
Sissy rides are the best!
CANNOT TAKE THIS FACE!

Snow angels, the snow was PERFECT!
Mya's on the left, mine on the right.
Ash just wanted to lay there.
Then, it's all fun and games till someone gets hurt. Ash and I were going down and the sled cut up Ashley's face. It was just too big for the 2 of us and the front scooped up and scraped the crap outta her. Poor boo. She just laid in Nona's arms while Dewey was rubbing snow on it.
After tubby that night, it looked worse.
But it didn't stop her from relaxing and reading.
Can't wait for more fun times this winter! I really can't wait to take them skiing.
