Glitzy pumpkins

So this year we decided to take a different route on pumpkins. Usually we help daddy carve them. Since daddy has been working nights and squirrels always eat our pumpkins, and cause we love our glitter and glitz, we did glitter pumpkins. First go round was a random night with just me helping the girls. The girls love painting so I decided to let them paint their pumpkins from Mya's school trip to the farm.
 Ash was good at first...
..but quickly got bored and started painting the paper instead.
 Mya was ready to create!
 Uber excited!
Once Ash started watching Mya, she got back into it.
 Mya even got the stem.
Ash was getting a little angry at the paint.
She wanted to remove her shirt, that's how she does.  WACKO!
 GLITTER TIME!
 CHEESE
 Our finished products.
Next up, we waited till the weekend and had daddy help us to the real deal (thank you pinterest) glitter pumpkins, which turned out a bit better.  Ready to go!
Very carefully putting her glitter on.  Yes she's wearing 2 different colored flips, that's how she rolls sometimes.
 sprinkle, sprinkle...
 so pretty mommy!
Ashley's turn.  Ry helped with the adhesive.
 Ash helped with the glitter.
Everyone contributed to the next one.
Getting all the glitter we can get.
 finishing touches...
 All done!
This was a really fun project!  I think we'll be doing glitter pumpkins for the next few years.  Who doesn't love a little sparkle in their lives?!
