Nona's 80th

WARNING PICTURE OVERLOAD!!!!!
We went to VA this past weekend to celebrate Nona's 80th Birthday. Pete was able to come up from NC and join in on the festivities which made it even better!!!! We left Saturday morning, ride down wasn't the greatest. Mya was crying the first 2 hours on and off (we should have waited till her naptime to leave), it was raining, than started snowing once we hit MD, didn't make for a good road trip. Once we got there, she finally got in an hour nap which was good. This was her first snowfall. She was amazed by it.
You may be seeing this picture on your christmas card (if I ever get them out).
Last time Pete saw Mya she was 3 months old.

Let the party begin!!!
My mom and Nona look identical!!

Turkey weekend

Gettin ready to cook our little turkey!
ok kidding, but she loved sitting in the roaster.
Turkey day was busy as usual. We always hit up my parents and Ryan's moms. So, this year we started at Diane and Jon's and ended at my parents house. Of course I forgot my camera battery for Jon and Diane's.
Here we are before we left home. Not a good pic, but you can see she has her shoes on and all, those shoes came off in the car on the way out. We were at Jon and Diane's and she had one shoe on, that's how she rolls.
Here we are at my parents, playing with the dog food as usual these days.
family shot
After stuffing our faces and putting Mya to sleep we decided to play a game of pictionary. Now, if you can guess what this is, I'd be quite surprised. This is my fathers masterpiece. No Pablo Picasso, that's for sure!
Oh and that would be an armpit!?!?!?!?!?!?
Black Friday morning, who wants to shop when you can play in your diaper!!!!

We had started off downstairs in her pj's until she needed a diaper change. Once you get that girl out of her clothes, she takes off!

Before heading upstairs, what else but playing with the dog food?? I mean really, why do we buy this kid toys? And there's Lola cleaning up Mya's mess!

Babci, Nusi, Ryan and Mya bean after breakfast.

Saturday night, Aunt Mary threw Uncle Joe a surprise 40th, Spider man themed party. He never had a spider man party as a kid like he always dreamed of.
Ryan decorated the cake, watch out Duff!
The whole time, Uncle Joe thought it was a surprise party for Mags, her bday is Thursday.
no no no, it's for you Joe!
Mya was all ready to see Tio.
Ryan was blending in with the HP police all night. He had a Puerto Rican police officer badge strapped to his arm.

End of the night, Tony had NO CLUE that people were writing all over his arms the next morning.

Sunday we went to Jen and Jacks to celebrate Ryan, Michael and Jimmy's birthdays! Mya and Ava got to hang out all afternoon.
Ava showed Mya how to play on her swing set next. It was Mya's first time on a swing! She was chillin!

Then started loving it!
Ava showed us all how to go down the slide.
Then Poppy wanted to try!!!!
Happy Birthday Ryan, Michael and Jimmy!!
