So the day of her birthday. After opening presents, having Dewey swing by before work, and having a yummy breakfast, we headed to Pt Pleasant. I was asking her all week what she wanted to do for her birthday. She kept saying, go to the park. The night before her birthday, when I asked her again, what would you like to do tomorrow? Her answer was, go to the beach! YAY! I LOVE that they love the beach so much, it's totally our happy place. So, we headed down around late morning. Mya said she wanted to go to the arcade. LOL! Like really? That's a place daddy can take them! I mean, it's fun and all, but Ryan LOVES the arcade. I would have rather the aquarium, or even just sitting on the beach all day, even though it was kinda chilly. We got there and I had to document these moments, like all moments that we have. It's so hard to get them to both look, and have real smiles.
...but I still tried.
I can't!
We got in and they wanted to try and win these stuffed animals from the claw games, that NO ONE ever wins cause they have NO rubber on the ends of them. It's nearly impossible I seem to think. We moved onto connect 4. Since the girls were playing against one another, I knew one would win big tickets. So I tried to coach Ash into letting her win. Not that either one of them knew what the hell was going on. They really both just wanted to press the buttons, lol! Mya was freaking on cloud 9 when a TON of tickets came out when the game was over in like a matter of 30 seconds, lol!
collecting them all up.
Ski ball is always a hit. Mya is getting much better at it.
Ash wanted to throw overhand, so Mya was teaching her.
LOL!
They were literally having so much fun in the arcade. If only Ry was there, he would have been in heaven!
NO CLUE what they were doing. Just having fun, not minding the object of the game at all. Who cares, as long as they were having fun, that's absolutely all that matters to me!
We can't go to the boardwalk without playing this game. Winner everytime for us!
Ash wouldn't come take pics with us. BUM!
After the arcade, we ventured onto the beach to have a snack. I wasn't very prepared with bringing food, and there wasn't much open yet since it was a Tuesday. The girls were more than happy to get a pretzel though, score!
There is no better place to be....
First, lemme take a selfie.
My little free spirit, as free as they come!
Happy just doing her own thang.
Which always includes burying her feet in the sand.
With my birthday girl. I still remember 5 years ago when I first laid eyes on you, you just keep getting more beautiful each passing day. LOVE you my little bean.
STOP with the pics.
More wandering around...
..and stopping to bury her feet, yet again!
Not exactly sure about the sign she's throwing here...
I'm very familiar with this one! LOL!
happiness
The water was so rough.
Since we were in Pt and I really had to use the bathroom as I was packing the girls in the car, I thought, lets just stop by Charity and Eric's house. SCORE, they were home! Fail, Brookie was sleeping, but we got some lovin from Reesie and Char, of course! They even whipped out a donut to sing to the little boo, thanks so much girlies!
LOL, these 2!
We, of course, had the fam over for dinner and cake! These 2 are like 2 peas in a pod, LOVE it!
She put on her new dress from Mimi and Poppy!
*MELT*
Time to sing. She was more than happy to have the littles sitting on her lap.
Making her 5th birthday wishes.....
These 2 crazies were trying to sled down the hill!
Could this little guy be any cuter?!
Cousin lovin!
LOL at Jojo's face.
These kiddies are just too much. And yes, that's Ash in the same dress as Mya, Mimi couldn't resist!!!!
Mya and her Nona.
Funny that this just happened. They wanted to pretend they were at the beach. Willie was lucky enough to wear a new pair of Mya's eyelet shorts, LOL!!!!
Uncle Ma-ul

This cheese face gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME!
Thank you to everyone who came over and crammed theirselves into our place to celebrate our big girl. I truly can't explain how happy she was to celebrate with her family and loved ones. LOVE you all. And thank you to everyone who wished her some birthday lovin, she sure did feel special. xoxo
