Really, why are we naming all snow storms now??? Kinda ridiculous if you ask me. Anyway, last Friday we had a big snow storm on the radar, going into Saturday. I got the girls all bundled up to go to Titi's.
I got out of work early and all, YIPEE!!! I picked up the girls and we headed home, in the rain. Shortly after, it started snowing. Now, Mya and I were supposed to go with Reese and Charity to the State Theater that night to see Yo Gabba Gabba. We were so excited for our little girls night, but that ended up being cancelled (well not the show, but we didn't take our girlies out in it). Anyway, Dewey came by after work, cause he even got out a little early. He wanted to make a snowman with the girls. I got them all bundled up and we headed outside. At first, Ash didn't want Dewey to put her down.

Dewey said to call him if we go sleigh riding. We were going to go Friday night, but we called Dewey and he said, it's not good to go, too icy and to wait for all the snow coming our way that night. OK! So, Saturday morning we woke up and after we all ate breakfast, Daddy shoveled all the cars out. Meanwhile, the girls were inside painting. Ash even participated in it, for a good 10 minutes.

Daddy got us out, so off we went. Mags wanted to come, so we picked her and Jabril up! YAY! We headed to Donaldson Park in Highland Park. There were lots of kids there, but we went on the smaller side of the hill, so it wasn't crazy. However, the snow wasn't packed down on that side, so when the girls went down, the snow was flying in their faces. They weren't fans AT ALL! Ash went down once with daddy and was done. I took her down a 2nd time, facing me, and she was ok, but just wasn't feeling it. So she just played at the top of the hill.

We had a great time. Too bad now the snow sucks cause it's just dirty and gross. I hope that's it for this year. I couldn't be totally done with it at this point. Bring on the sun and warmer days!!!!
