pre-vaca fun

Last Monday and Tuesday I took off and we headed down to Wildwood to meet Mary and Joe. They went from Sunday to Tuesday and invited us down! We were so excited for a little pre-vaca fun and could hardly wait to leave. The girls were all ready and started the ride out reading the 'punnies' that my dad gave to them!

The ride was TORTURE! We sat in 1.5 hours worth of traffic and went about 2 miles on Rt 18. They closed the road down cause there was a crazy tanker fire. I wish we had listened to the radio but we didn't. What a mess! Ride is supposed to take 2.5 hours and it took us 4.5. Whatever, it was totally worth the ride, that's for sure.
But whatever, WE MADE IT!!!!!

And Ash loved every second of the beach time we got.

This kid is obsessed with the sand. She was getting sleepy so we took her back to the room for a nap.

While she was napping, Mary and I went to the pool with the bean. She was loving the slide.

Slip sliding away....

Than the ice cream truck came, SCORE!

After Ash woke up, we headed back down to the beach. It was low tide so we were chillin in the sand bar. SO MUCH FUN! I want to vacation here for an entire week next summer, for sure!

Ash was a little skeptical at first and was just hanging on the shoreline.

Than daddy took her for a ride on the boogy board.

and she was all about it!

bucket head beany

haha

We went out to eat before hitting up the boardwalk. What a mess, Ash is a kook now and we didn't realize how hard it'd be to 'tame' her at a restaurant. We all just took turns walking around with her, which was fine. However, we won't be going out to dinner for a while with this one, too much work!
The bean was good though. Nutto was eating my lemon.

Checking out the boats.

With Titi

And off to the boardwalk!!!!

Watching someone get shot into the air on the sling shot!

Off to find the first ride with Tio.

Ash and her god parents.

Watching Mya on the go-carts.

LOL! This was hysterical!!!! Alot of the kids were just literally going in circles. Meanwhile, Ry and Uncle Joe were on the side trying to tell her how to steer. Now turn the wheel the other way, now back. HAHAH!!!

GO SISSY!

hahaha, going in circles.

This is what that looked like! It was hysterical.

Next up was the swings. She seriously looks so big to me here, wah!

Off to the teacups. I couldn't believe she wanted to go on them. But I was psyched, I LOVE rides and haven't been on any in years. So, even if it was just the teacups, I was ready. I asked her a few times, are you sure you want to go on them, they go kinda fast. YEAAAA was her answer! OK! Lets do it mama. We got on and off they went. The whole time I was spinning the wheel with one hand cause she kept saying FASTER MOMMY! My other hand was clutched onto Mya to keep her close to me. Even though she kept telling me to let go mommy, let me go.

Now time to fly an airplane.

Flying high

Ash and Tio waving.

Cheering her on in the trucks.

And high fiving Ry every time she passed.

Ash just watched. Those friggin curls are too much!

Ry and Mary took the girls on the smaller ferris wheel. FUN!

Daddy bought a mo-hawk.

Mya on Titi's favorite ride as a kid.

Ash wanted a ball so Titi played. The guy had to guess her age...37!! WIN!!

Thanks Titi!

Ash wore the mo-hawk too.

I couldn't believe Ash made it to nearly 9pm. She passed out pretty good when we got back to the room though. The next morning we woke up at 7am, this is late for Ash and was SO NICE! We went out and checked out the beach.

Sissy loves

I love how Mya's head is nuzzled into Ash, love these girls with all my heart and soul.

We went for a little walk on the beach too.

Not sure why Mya wanted to bring the umbrella, whatever. Ash got her hands on it and was more than happy with it too.

LOVE this.

We were here....

Peace out Wildwood, till next year!

We stopped at LBI on the way home to have a beach day with my cousins. Mya was living the life getting a ride to the beach.

Ash was just cracking up at me....

Too cool...

...or maybe Mya's shades will be better...

Sonny

Archie man...Can you even stand the do rag?!!

And PASSED OUT on the way home!

We had so much fun. Thank you SO SO much Titi and Tio for having us in Wildwood with you guys. We love you guys so much and can't wait till vaca this coming weekend! It can't come soon enough. xoxoxo
