Our little munchkin is getting SO big, SO FAST!!!! She's been crawling since Sept (the 19th to be exact, day after Rachel's wedding), and has been pulling herself up for a few weeks. Now she's pulling herself up and trying to balance. She hasn't quite got it yet, but it's adorable to watch! Sorry the video is so dark, will need to get a better one with good lighting.

And, now that she's mobile, she's ALL OVER the place the second you put her down. She found the dog bowls and has a blast playing with the food. Well, dumping it all out that is. Lola's helping her clean it up!

The twins turned 29 on Friday!! We had a really fun birthday weekend. We started it off on Friday, Mya had her daddy attire on all day! A Happy Birthday Daddy shirt (that said I love you on the back, ADORABLE!), a red tutu and I heart daddy leg warmers....yes, she was all dolled up for him!!!


Had to throw this in cause this girl ALWAYS has her socks (or toys) in her mouth!

some catching up do

So I've been slacking a bit on updating here. It's been a busy last couple of days and now, it's Ryan's birthday week! Yes, you heard that correctly, he's gonna be 30, I mean 29 years young on Friday!!!! I'll have lots of good pics to update with next week I'm sure!

Last Tuesday, Aunt Mary, Uncle Joe, Granny and Mya headed down to Brick to Aunt Ann's house to visit with my cousin Sue and her 2 kiddos, Sonny and Danny (cuties!!).

Aunt Mary said that Mya just wanted to grab Sonny, I guess she didn't realize that Sonny is twice the size of her and could take her out in one swift grab. Poor Mya must want to squeeze and grab so much because all I do to that girl is tell her how edible she is and bite her all over.

Saturday we took Mya to Charity and Eric's to visit with her friend Reese, and yet again, Mya just wanted to grab and touch Reese. Poor Reese was not a fan. OMG, too much, this girl is NONSTOP!!!!

So, we went to the Jets game with our old (insert crying face here) neighbors yesterday. Besides the fact that the Jets absolutely suck and can't win a game for the life of them, we had a great time. It could have been the (1) over abundance of alcohol that was consumed, (2) the jaguars fans that Ryan kept throwing plastic bottles at, which he in turn got me to start throwing bottles at, (3) the hermaphrodite that was sitting in front of us or, (4) the female jaguars fan who was called a crack whore at the end of the game!!!! My god it was fun!!! And the weather was just unreal too!!!!

I walk in to this!!!

So, my usual mornings go like this....wake up at 6, try to get ready as quick as possible in case Mya decides to wake up before her usual time (which is 7 when we're ready to leave). The past few mornings, I haven't been so lucky, she's been waking up at 6:30. So this morning, I kept snoozing and finally got out of bed at 6:20. Knowing that I probably didn't have much time to get ready in peace, I started rushing like a mad woman until I hear our sweet little munchkin making the cutest little noises from her crib. I waited about 10 minutes so I could try and finish up as much as I could. Plus she was very content just making sweet little noises in there. I open the door to go and scoop up my little snickerdoodle and I find her staring me right in the eye with a big ole grin!!!!

Looks like daddy needs to lower that crib to the lowest setting!!! We don't want her to try climbing out next!!!!!

Happy Halloween!!!!!!

Mya had her first Halloween this year and what cuter little buggy to dress her up in than a ladybug. It was a WARM day so we nixed the black long sleeved shirt to go under the costume and the tights. Luckily we had a pair of black and red striped leg warmers that did the job perfectly!!!
