girls pool day

Last Friday we went to the Leonhardts for a pool day.  Regan and her cuties came too, which was awesome.  The girl were super excited to get in their suits and get pool ready once we got there.
And in goes Mya.
Ash took a rest for some chips and guac.
Look Mom, I'm balancing the board.
Some of the girlies.
I can't take this cute little backside!
Having a great time!
Lunchtime for the kids.
This was so cute, Mya and Gia went under the hammock to hang for a bit.
After they got up, Ash and Jack went over.
Mya and Reese on the raft.
Mya is SO brave in the water.  I think we really need to get her some swim lessons.  Ash too (not the swim lessons part) but she's so brave.  Loves to jump in and is constantly saying, "I do it myself mommy."  Love seeing these girls so into the water.

Happy Fathers Day!

Father's Day, time to spoil our fathers (and husbands) for all that they do for us.  We spent this father's day with Ryan's step dad in the morning and with my dad in the afternoon.  Poor Ry was all over the place, but he didn't mind.  I tried to make him do as little as possible though.
We woke up and the girls and I ran out to get breakfast sandwiches.  He had mentioned that he wanted pork roll, egg and cheese, so that's what he got.  Then the girls woke him to give him his presents.  One of them consisted of this pic I took of the girls that they framed in a frame that they painted.  He LOVED it!
Breakfast time.
 Ash joined in too.
Off to Nunu and Pop Pop's house.  We were SUPER excited that Alycia, Brian, Wabo (the dog), Jonathan and Conner were going to be there too!  Mya and Ash wasted no time running outside to play catch with Alycia.
But the second Wabo came out, Ash just wanted to hang with him.
It was a beautiful day to be outside.
I don't now if Ash left Wabo's side at all that day.

Playing with Nunu.
But why doesn't Wabo want to kiss me?
Daddy went back there cause Mya was requesting that Daddy throw her the ball.

Time to feed the birdies, one of their favorite things to do.
Ash was waiting her turn.
She couldn't reach this one, so her big sissy gave her a lift.
Telling Shadow to get down.
This was SO cute.  Nona was getting something from the cabinets, so got a chair to reach.  Ash went right behind her and grabbed the back of her legs saying, "Be careful Nona, don't fall." LOVE IT!
Ry and Frank
LOVEEEE this pic!
Ava cracks me up when she feeds the birds.  She puts the scoop into the bucket but doesn't get anything into the scoop, but pretends that she's feeding them.  It's too cute.
Bubble time
Mya was making Ava crack up.
Dewey and his grand daughters, LOL!
Typical family pic.
LOL!!!
Happy Fathers Day to you babe.  The girls don't know how lucky they are (not yet at least).  You truly are the best daddy to them I could have ever dreamed of.  Not only are you super gentle and loving with them but you're also so fun and just always playing with them.  You make my heart melt when I see the hugs and kisses that you give them and that they give you.  I never knew my life could be so perfect.  Thanks for making it that way.  Love you forever.
And to my dad, Happy Fathers day to the first guy I ever loved.  You have always been the one that I can count on whenever I needed anything.  A few bucks, a big hug, a laugh (or a million of them) or a swift kick in the ass.  I couldn't have gotten to where I am today without your love and guidance through all the years.  You have taught me that hard work pays off and that you always need to try your hardest and give your all.  I love you so much and feel so blessed to have you so close to us.  I love seeing you with my girls cause it makes me see how fun and crazy you were with us when we were kids.  Love you so much.
And to my father in laws, I'm lucky and get 2!  I feel so blessed to feel so welcomed into your families.  Love you both so much.
I hope all you fathers had a wonderful fathers day out there.  xoxo

Happy 1st Birthday Lily!

Little Lily celebrated her first birthday on June 6th.  Kelly and Tony threw an adorable party for her last Saturday.  It actually worked out perfect that we were going to the beach in the morning, cause they live down there.  So, once we were all finished up with the beach we drove around for a bit so that the girls could take a quick cat nap.  We were trying to avoid any meltdowns.  We headed on over once they woke up!
So, without further ado, I give to you the birthday girl!!!  LOL, nice shot, right?  I mean, how could you resist though?!
Gracie teaching Ash how to climb into the balls.
The weather couldn't have been any better.  We headed outside to the swing set.  Mya and Gracie wasted no time in hopping right on.
Ash headed over to the car and the birthday girl got a ride on top.
Kel had all the water toys out too.  The girls got their suits on and jumped right in, literally!
I'm so surprised that Mya isn't a water sign cause this kid LOVES the water.
Mya and Gracie were even jumping off the chairs into the baby pool.  Stellar parents let them jump off wet plastic, maybe not the best idea but hey, there were no injuries.
Lily was having more then enough fun on the slide with her Memme and Pop.
Tony thought that the birthday girl would want to take a ride through the sprinkler/pool too...
...she wasn't a fan!
Kel's beach theme was so super cute!  The ice cream cone cupcakes were adorable and so yummy too.
Tony made the beach ball smash cake!  Gotta love when the men can do it just as good as us girls!
Adorable decorations.  I always love seeing all the pics through the year.  It's amazing how much these little ones change in such a short period.
Ash joined Gracie when she changed from her bathing suit.  They also wasted no time jumping up onto the bed and jumping away with the teddy bears.
Then, Gracie and Kelly put on a little puppet show for us.
Ash went behind next, with Kel.  SO CUTE!
The kiddies (can't see ya at all Kel, lol!).
Time for birthday cake.  I seriously can't get over how stinkin adorable this little girl is.
Family pic, before she digs right in.
What's this stuff?
LOVE!
All the colors, so perfect.
Time for the parachute.  The kids loved it, getting thrown around and all.  Poor Colin wasn't allowed on, lol!
But he was just fine swinging away.
That would be Ash and Gracie in there.
We hope you had a very special and memorable 1st birthday.  We were so happy to be there celebrating with you.  Love you tons Lily pie.  xoxoxo
