Christmas in March

That's right, I said it, Christmas in March people!  For the past few years a few of us, the Duprees, Leonhardts and Osmond's have gotten together for Christmas with the kiddies.  This past year we kept making plans and someone would get sick.  We FINALLY got together, no sickies this past weekend.  It was actually kinda fun to celebrate Christmas in March.  The kids loved getting the presents too!
We got there and Mya and Willie ran into his room.  I went in and Mya was putting Willie's tool belt on him.  I went back into the kitchen and Mya runs past me then past me again.  Apparently, she kept running to Willie's tool bench to get more tools to add to his belt.  Too cute!
I wish this pic came out clear, love these too.  And Mya is constantly telling me she's going to marry Willie.  Which Ry and I are completely fine with.  How awesome would that be!!!!
Kylie was asleep when we got there, when she woke up, the cameras started shooting, lol!  How freaking edible is this kid?!
Ash, what a wacko!  The kid always wants to get into these jumpers when she sees them.
 Brunch time!!!!
Gracie enjoying her green munchkin for St Patty's day!  Cutie pie
MYA LOVES BABIES, I don't even think I can say it enough.  It melts me.
 Coloring station.
 Ryan's got baby fever, lol!
Another edible freaking baby.  Freaking love this little Lily pie.
 Hiding with her food.  NUTSO!
Adore seeing Ry with babies.  Helping little Lily walk like the big kids.
Time to try and get a group shot.  Mya and Reesie were ready.  So were Gracie and Lily.
Mya and Reesie wanted to check out the gifts, Lily and Gracie were still ready, poor Brookie was done!
The best shot I got, lol!
 Love this little face.
Want to eat this kid up.
Rach was changing Kylie and she was cracking up, it was the cutest thing.
The 2 little ones playing with the grocery cart.
Will was tossing Willie and Mya around like crazy.  They were loving every second of it too.
Tossing them onto the couch, lol.
 Mya's turn.
Then he was tickling the crap outta them!
Mya, can you smile for me?  This is what I get.
Mya playing with Kylie and Gracie.  Mya's hair was in a french braid from the night before.  We took it out in the morning and she was so excited her hair was 'curly'.
 Next baby holding sesh.
Char with her cookie.  Those cheeks!
 Mya jumped in too!
Reesie and Ash playing together.  These 2 crack me up.
 Reesie's turn...
 ...Ash will just follow her!
 Smooches for Brookie.
Seriously want to bite that hiney!  EDIBLE!
Mya opening her gifts with Reesie.  This cracks me up.  Typical kid opening presents.
Ash trying on her new princess dress from the Osmonds.
Unfortunately I can't post the video of Will throwing the kiddies cause it's too long, GRRR!!! It was really cute though.
Good times everyone, I'm glad we finally made this happen.  Love you all.  xoxo

hippity hoppity

This past Saturday we decided to head out to Brunswick Square (craphole) mall to see the Easter Bunny.  Now, I didn't know how this would go.  Mya is a breeze but Ash, well she wasn't a fan of Santa, so I didn't know if she'd like the bunny.  We got there nice and early to beat any lines that may build up later in the day.  We dressed the girls in matching outfits (of course) and had candy and snacks on hand to bribe them with.  Mya was a cinch.  We got to the bunny, she went over and sat right on his lap.  While she went to sit on his lap I said to the woman, this is going to have to be quick, I'm gonna have to put her down (speaking of Ash) and you have to snap as fast as possible.  I already felt the fear in Ashley's grip as we entered the gate to see him.  Mya was busy propped up on the bunny, smiling her heart out.  I looked at Ash and said, ok babe, ready to sit on the Easter bunny's lap, she graps my neck and says NOOOOO!!!  Ok, this is gonna be tricky.  I tried to work with her, Ash, daddy has tic tac's want to hold them and you can eat one?  NOOOO!  Do you want to get a piece of candy?  NOOO!  Ok, this wasn't gonna work. I decided it was just time to set her down.  Down she went and I ran to the camera and tried to get her to smile, FAIL!  Here is the best we got!
After the bunny pics, since it was too chaotic to try and snap pics at the same time.
Of course she's waving to him now.  I said, Ash you wanna go back and sit on his lap, NO! lol
Love how she's standing here.
Ava met us there too!  She was good on his lap.  No tears.  Of course she cracked her smile, on his lap, once the pics were done!  Her pic still came out super cute.
Time for pretzels and fun.  This thing was pretty cool.
As we were leaving we passed the little rides.  Mya wanted to go on one so bad.  Since she was so good we said she could.  Ava even hopped on.  Imagine, 15 years down the road when they're really driving together, YIKES!
Ash, as happy as can be in the race car.
We went back to Pete and Shell's to play for a bit.  Shell was reading to Mya and Ava.
Ash was just, being Ash!
Little video of Ava moving around with her stroller.

weekend wrap up

This past weekend was pretty eventful.  It all started on Friday night with Uncle Michael.  He came over for dinner and hung for a bit.  Always a good time with you brotha, we missed you though, Laura.  Sorry, no pics.
Saturday morning was packed with fun.  We started with Mya's ballet class, then after headed over to Mya's friend, Lia's house for a play date, Ash came too.  We had so much fun.  Mya and Lia get along so well, and Ash had a great time playing with the big girls.  Crumb cake time!
Then the girls got all dressed up and played.  Even Ash, who was Merida and in all her glory!
Time to go.  The girlies, they are so cute together.
Saturday was freaking GORGEOUS out.  After we got home from the play date and Ash napped (passed out in the car on the way home actually).  We decided to head outside for a bit to enjoy the sun.  The girls wanted to ride the mini cooper, so they started by cleaning it off.
Working hard to find out the battery needed to be charged, sorry loves.
So, onto the next best thing.  Mya took her scooter out and Ash sat in her car.  I seriously can't believe that Ash sits still in this thing, love it.
These girls must have gone down this little 'hill' 20 times.  Mya would ride down on the scooter and I'd (or Ry) push Ash down fast.  OVER AND OVER AND OVER!
Daddy's turn!
Sometimes, Ash just doesn't want to walk in the same direction as us.
And just keeps going and going and going.
Love this girly girl.
Sunday Ry and I did a 20K (BOOOO FRANK!).  It was in Johnson Park, so pretty much like backyard running for us, since that's where we always run.  We have the Rutgers Unite half in April.  This was a good warm up for that, plus it was gorgeous out.  However, I really didn't want to do it.  Ry, who had been drinking a little bit the night before, was fine, which is so typical.  I don't know how he does it.
Finished in under 2 hours.  Ry stayed with me for about half of it.  He then went ahead and finished with a 9 minute pace.  I surprised myself by finishing with a 9.24 pace!!!  It was pretty crazy though when all the people are passing you.  No joke, there were like 60 year olds who were flying past me.  Makes me feel so outta shape.  Ry would just keep saying, it's ok, we're still at a 9 minute pace.  lol.  I think I really want to do a full marathon in the next 2 years.  Who's in??
Sunday afternoon, we headed over to Colleen and Brando's for a play date with Sophie.  It's been so long since we've seen her.  Mya and So So were playing on the ride on together, it was so cute.
Sophie's turn to drive!
Mya was sitting on it, Sophie hops on the front and they start talking, so cute!
I think the shades are a little small, boo.
Ashley was obsessed with this huge dog.  Kept running over to it and hugging it, so cute.
Such a fun weekend.  I hope that the weather breaks and we have more sunny days coming soon.
