Happy Birthday Mom!

Friday was my wonderful mother's birthday! What a beautiful day for a birthday!!! My dad, who is TERRIBLE at surprises wanted to surprise her with a little family/friend get together. He thought of this about a week and a half prior to her birthday. Good idea dad, but seriously, this man can't keep a secret for the LIFE of him! Can you believe he actually kept the secret!!!!! He must have been dying inside, but she had NO idea and was so surprised to see some of her family and friends at her house to celebrate her on Friday night!
We headed over in Ryan's 1965 Merc, it was the PERFECT day to bring this bad boy out! Mya absolutely LOVES this car!

We got to my parents and they took out her 'car'. She always loves driving this around my parents backyard!

This was HYSTERICAL!!!!!!! AFTER she ate just about everyone's chocolate cake, she got this HUGE burst of energy and ripped her jean jacket off and started flashing everyone! Yea, I said it, she was lifting her shirt up and laughing the DEEPEST belly laughs you can imagine while running in circles around the backyard! It was HYSTERICAL and she had us all rolling on the ground laughing.

Than she got almost everyone to do ring around the rosie...she was LOVING every second of it.

BEAutiful days

Friday was a BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL DAY! Once I saw it was supposed to reach nearly 70 degrees, I took a vaca day from work. It was SO worth it, we had a great day! We even got to the park for some fun there.
I was in tears watching Mya go down the big kid slides all by herself! Where did my little baby girl go??

....although she was still a little wobbly at the end.

It's so fun to watch her grow but still so hard. I just wish I could freeze time for a little bit so I could take it all in. Less than a month till she's 2! I love you so much bean, keep being that crazy, hysterical little girl you are. xoxo

off to the dentist

Friday we had Mya's first dentist appointment. We went to a dentist recommended to us and the place was amazing! The dental hygienist and entire staff was so great! I didn't know HOW they'd get into Mya's mouth to actually clean her teeth, but they sure did. The office was amazing too, they had video games (that Ry was DYING to play, I think he wants to start using this dentist), a little play house (that Mya loved) and just a ton of cute stuff there.
We got there and Mya ran to the little play house, not knowing what she was in for!

Ok, your turn sunshine! They took a pic of her before they even started (which we later found out was for a 'My 1st dentist appointment certificate' SO CUTE! I see why they take it before, her welled up eyes would have made for a horrible pic. This child was NOT a fan of them cleaning her teeth, however, the dental hygienist, Sue, said she did great cause she still opened her mouth and let her clean, just not quiet! I sat in the chair and held her hands and she rested her head on the Sue's lap. She'd

mid scream!

ALL DONE! Well that's until the actual Dentist came in to 'count her teeth' and put fluoride on them! She was SO ready to go and SUPER excited to get her 'wellow' balloon on the way out!

If anyone in the central NJ area is looking for a pediatric dentist, I highly recommend this office, Central Jersey Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.

BUBBLES

Tuesday we went outside after dinner to blow some bubbles. Mya is OBSESSED with bubbles. When we go to her gymboree class they have this bubble song (which we got the CD for) and Mya loves it! She says bubblessss and gets all excited. She insists on doing by herself until she realizes that she blows WAY too hard and not many come out. The bubble wand/blower thing from gymboree is ridiculous for bubbles.

She likes to pop them too!

Than daddy was playing with her and she was cracking up! It's amazing how much taller she is this year than last year. She couldn't see over the side last year without standing on the bottom ledge of the white fence.

2 cute videos

Hope everyone had a Happy St Patty's Day! It was so nice out yesterday. We got 2 videos of the bean last night before dinner.

The way she says yellow is HYSTERICAL!!! Her vocabulary is totally expanding! I was driving to Aunt Mary's last week and some idiot cut me off, I said "you idiot," what do I hear Mya saying in the backseat? IDIOT! LOL!! Now we really need to watch what we say!!

we finally meet the twins

Our good friend, Johnny and his wife Nicole, had twin boys in December. This past Sunday we finally got over to meeting them! Sorry it took so long guys. They are SO cute!
I got Gavin (who looks so much like Johnny) and Ryan got Aiden. We even got to feed them, so sweet!

Mya wanted to get into the pic. Gavin PASSED out after his bottle. I was so content with just holding him as he was snoozing. Such little angels.

I give them alot of credit, I don't know how the heck they do 2!
