Just had to post this video of Mya's attempt on apples today. Needless to say, she wasn't as excited as we were.

pumpkin patch time

Today was Mya's first trip to the pumpkin patch. It was SO cute. We took a hay ride to the patch to take a few picks and to pick out our pumpkins.

tubby time, or not so much..

She loves her tubby so much that we decided to let her sit in it to play. She was having a ball.

Then she was just cracking me up blowing bubbles.

We had Mya's cousin, Ava's, 3rd birthday last weekend. It was a blast, Mya was getting a kick out of all the kids there. Can't wait till next year when she can run around with them too!

onto the veggies...

OMG does this girl LOVE her food!!! She literally sits there and opens wide for the spoon, it cracks us up. Than after she takes a bite, she leans back in her seat and makes MMMMMM noises!!! We've now introduced the rice cereal, carrots and sweet potatoes. I think I'll make apples this weekend (I'm making all of her food, VERY EASY)!!!

Tabby and Michael came over Monday night to feed her (Tabby got to feed her 2 days in a row!).

We thought she was done but she kept opening her mouth, so we gave her a few spoonfuls more, no bib (we were pretty brave)! Never again, this girl is a piggy!

We had Mya's 6 month check up yesterday. Everything went GREAT! She's 27 inches long (in the 90%) and 16lbs 9.5ozs (in the 50-75%). The Dr said she's PERFECT, I can't disagree there! She had to get 2 shots, an oral vaccine and a finger prick, she did SO good. She let out a little shreik when the shots came but settled down as soon as I picked her up and comforted her. The Dr also told us that we can FINALLY start foods!!!! We were PSYCHED!! So as soon as daddy got home yesterday we got her all ready for her first taste. We gave her cereal, she absolutely LOVED it!!!
