Halloween 2013

Halloween was last Thursday.  I got out of work a little early and sped over to get the girls.  When I got home, Pete, Shell and Ava were already there.  Mya decided to dress in her original mermaid costume (SCORE!) and Ash wanted to wear Mya's dance recital bunny costume (another SCORE!).
I swear, getting a good pic of the 2 of them is very very hard.
Sending a pic to daddy since he was working super late that night.
 LOL!
Ready to hit a few houses trick or treating.  The weather was so good, the kids didn't even need jackets!  YAY!
Mya is always posing for me.
Off to the first house.  I can't even take Ashley's bunny butt.
 Ava and Shell
 LOVE!
 Such a big girl.
This guy was creepy, I thought Mya would be scared for sure.  She seemed to be ok though.
Uncle Frankie helping the girls across the street.
More attempts at getting a good pic resulted in another fail.
If only Ash could have been looking at me.
After hitting up a few places, we came home to eat dinner.  In that time the Duprees got over too!
My little boyfriend.
 CAN'T EVEN TAKE THIS CREW!
 Poor Ky.
 my heart
 Off they go.
Reminds me of when Rach was a mouse in the nutcracker.
 BFF's
 Love this little munchkin.
Especially for her love of food!  Trying to break into the twix bar.
I hope everyone had a Halloween that was just as fun and filled with candy as ours.  We're seriously drowning in it now.  SO SO MUCH!  I'm trying so hard to be good and it's really hard with all these temptations.

Halloween parade 2013

Mya's Halloween Parade was on the 30th.  Now, up until the 29th, Mya was uber excited about being a mermaid for Halloween.  Then, the night before I was getting everything ready and she said she wanted to be a cowgirl.  Of course Ash said she did too!  So, I pulled everything down from the attic from last Halloween.  I didn't mind one bit, I loved the costumes anyway.  So, when Mya got to school the next morning and everyone was a princess, it was the end of the world and she no longer wanted to be a cowgirl, so typical.  I raced home before her parade to grab some princess dresses.  She picked Aurora and complained the second she got it on that it bothered her belly.  It's an old dress, the inside is fraying and it was irritating her belly.  Sorry kid, suck it up or be the adorable cowgirl that you had planned on.  Anyway, we got through it and she even smiled for some pics.
Next to her friend, Sophia.
 The kids lined up.
Her teacher, and the student teachers, joined in too.
Mrs Worobey even told Ash she could come into the pic.  My little cowgirl, love it!
Back to the classroom where they sang some songs.  Just so stinkin cute.
Ash was checkin out the bunny.
 Love you princess.
This was Mya's last Halloween in preschool. *tear*

Pumpkin carving

We waited until last minute to carve our pumpkins this year.  For a few reasons, the top 2 though would be, 1-we have a fat squirrel that ALWAYS eats the pumpkins once carved.  And I swear it's just one squirrel that lurks around to do it.  And he's FAT!  2-Ry has been working so much and the time just kept slipping away.  So, our wild mischief night consisted of pumpkin carving.
Ry made the hole in the top and the girls were super excited to take all the insides out.  Ry was explaining everything to do.
Gettin down and dirty!
The faces were killing me.
They were dying cause it was so slimey, but they kept going back for more.
Ash finally got into it too.
Any more?
Ashley's face, lol!
now Mya's!
LOL!
Daddy, clean my hands!
Did we get it all?
Can I lick my hands now? GROSS!
CLEAN OUR HANDS!!!
Her hair in a super high pony, I can't.

My girls
So, I outlined it, with a thumb tack.  Then I cut the first triangle.  Ry finished the rest.  With the exception of the holes.  We all did some of those.  Super fun using the drill.
Finished product.....
LOVE it!  Best pumpkin we ever did!
