It's nearly May 15th, this year is flying. The weather is getting so much better. Crisp mornings, warm days and crisp nights, my favorites! I love May, just the start to a few amazing months. Playing outside, long walks, ice cream and beach days.....

It was Mya's birthday celebration at school on April 7th. I had her parent/teacher conference so couldn't make it for the party before class. Not really a party but the parents are allowed in for circle time. Luckily I have an awesome aunt who watches them and helps out so much. LOVE YOU and thanks for helping make her birthday even more special. Don't know what I'd do without you.
Since it was parent/teacher conferences, Mrs Gliese (her teacher last year) was helping in the classroom. Was so special that she was there that day, LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!
Since my conference was right at the end of school I stayed to take her back to Mary's. I got to peek in for the end of class too!

Another beautiful day, so pedi's outside of course. I miss our old neighbors who would have been outside with us every time we were out there. COME BACK!
Time to take those training wheels off. Didn't last long, she got really nervous and definitely didn't realize how hard it truly is. But it's ok, takes time. By the end of the summer, she'll have it mastered!

Homemade cauliflower pizza crust pizza. My side had cottage cheese, spinach and grilled chicken, the girls side had cheese. I didn't squeeze out the cauliflower enough, so next time I'll have to make sure, but it was still good!
And of course, topped off with Thomas sweets, nothings better! Worms hanging out of her mouth of course!
Damn Easter candy was 50% off, how can I stop myself??? Oh yea, I didn't!

Mya's 5 year well visit didn't go exactly as planned. Last year Mya was completely amazing, Mya didn't cry at all for her shots. She even prepped us saying, I'm a big girl now, I'm not going to cry. Not one tear, it was freaking amazing! Even a few weeks after that appointment is when she asked to get her ears pierced, and not a tear there either, sat like a champ for those bad boys. Well this year, she told us that she would be ok for the shots, but when bought up, she was a little iffy about it still. The morning of she asked to bring her dr set just so she could check out Dr Booker too. DEAL! I thought this would help with some of the anxiousness of the shots. We get to the appointment and I told her she had to get a needle, she just begged for no finger prick. Nurse Kara came in, same routine, LOVE HER! She checked out Mya, cracked her up. She did an eye test, she did amazing. Mya was also so excited to pee in a cup (it's the little things in life!). It was time for the finger prick and I swear the mood changed faster than I could have imagined. She started crying, begging not to get it. I had to hold her finger for that, it was awful. It took her a while to regain her composure. Even than, she was still on edge. Dr Booker started asking her about her dr set. She pulled it out and he started checking out everything in there. He literally played with Mya and Ash and that dr set for a solid 10 minutes. It was the sweetest thing ever. I couldn't love her Dr more, he's such a sweet man and truly cares about his patients. It totally calmed her down. Until of course the other shot, he had to come back in to hold her since Ryan wasn't there to help me.
Mya has a journal at school. This is one of the pages in it of our family. Apparently the 2 (extra) kids in there are Mya and Ash when they were little. Freaking love this kid. She even drew handbags on her and I. Ash has blue hair and maracas and Ry has a faux hauk and glasses. This kid KILLS me!
