This past weekend, like every other weekend in October, Ryan worked. Luckily it was just Saturday, but it's alot of work! He's been working 11-16 hour days Monday-Saturday and sometimes on Sunday too. I feel so bad for him, I would literally fall over, but he's just like a freaking machine. His alarm goes off at 4:15 and he's out of the door by 5am! Like WHOA! My alarm goes off at 5:30 and every morning I look over to see if he's still there, of course he never is. I don't know how he hasn't hit snooze or just slept through it with all the long hours. He's such a hard, dedicated worker, I'm so proud of him! He's also now a foreman!!!! GO BABE!!!!! We're so proud of you and can't wait to celebrate when all this OT is over and hours are back to normal.
So, not only is it hard for him, but damn, I feel like a working, single parent. It's exhausting and I have so much more respect now for those of you who do everything on a daily basis. You realize how lucky you are when stuff like this happens.
SO, back to the weekend update. Friday night, Mary, Joe and Mags came over for some pizza and wine. Ry was working but actually got home around 6:30ish!!! So he got to hang too.
Saturday morning we woke up. Mya brushed her hair and said, "Mommy, I look so pretty, take a picture of me to send to daddy." It was the cutest thing. She misses her daddy too.
Breakfast time and we got creative.
Off to soccer Saturday's. This was the last 'practice' the games are the next 2 weekends. So this past Saturday they did little 1 on 1 games to practice some more. Mya met a new friend, Ivy. They were so good together and got along so well.
A little video.
After soccer we went to the park with our neighbor, Maddie and her sister, Sky and mom. We were there for a while. Mags even met us there. The girls play SO good together it's great having them live right next door.
We got home and the girls played house. Ash was obviously the baby. LOL!
That night we had Maddie, Sky, Jenny and Aaron over for a play date. Plus we love the parents too. Ry got moonshine from work too. Some guy makes it and he bought a mason jar of it. It was quite tasty, the guys drank that while us girls drank wine. A little too much wine, but it was so much fun. The girls play SO SO well together. There was not one tear, not one fight, just lots of laughter and talking. LOVE that! Mya was so tired by 10pm (we totally lost track of time) that she literally laid on the ground and passed out! She NEVER NEVER NEVER does this!
The next morning I had registered to be on Regan's team for the Alzheimer's walk. Her mom has Alzheimer's and we lost Granny to it this past year. So it's something that's very close to my heart. I didn't expect Ry to come, cause I thought he'd want to sleep in. But he jumped out of bed at like 8am and got ready to come. He said he didn't want to miss the only day he has with us. God how did I get so damn lucky?
Anyway, Regs had a whole team of people there supporting her mama with her. Her 2 other good friends, Becky and Colleen, who both have little girls too. So they all got along so well.
Ring around a Rosie...
Ash joined in.
Walk time....love you Granny and Mrs Ludeke.
So so lucky.
After we hit the playground. Ash was hysterical wearing Ryan's shades.
Loves the swings.
Mya and G coming down the slide together.
Mya was doing the monkey bars SO SO SO good. Like no joke went across almost the entire thing, unassisted. Chicks got muscles!
Then when she was in between sets (lol) she'd help the other girlies.
Muscles Bea
We had such a nice morning with you Regs. Love you girl. xoxo
