Sunday the 22nd was a big day for Ryan, Frank and I. We all ran the farthest we'd ever run at the Rutgers Unite half marathon and the Rutgers 8K. We've been having our weekly 'Sunday run day's' since January (was it January?) and have been loving it. I never realized how much I enjoy running with other people. Not only has it helped my pace, but it's just more enjoyable and I feel like I can go longer. Last year, Ry and I split the Rutgers Unite half and after that race we both said we were going to run the entire thing this year. Frank just started running in January and this was his first ever race! WE DID IT! We all finished our races and felt so good (besides the knee pain from me, and Ryan's ankle pain). It felt so good running through the finish line and it was even better to see my parents, Frank, Beth and mostly my 2 girls cheering us on as we ran through (Frank finished before us). I heard Mya screaming "RUN MOMMY RUN" and it literally bought tears to my eyes (may have been all the pain in my knee, lol). Ry stayed with me the entire time (thanks babe), next year I really want to finish in 2 hours. That was my goal this year and it wasn't accomplished, we finished in 2 hours and 12 minutes.
I love running on Sunday's with Ry and Frank and can't wait to continue this and run more races with them.
xoxo love you guys
Here we are before the race, our nervous smiles, lol
...and after the race, look how much more relaxed we look!

Welcome to the world sweet Ava
Ava Brielle was welcomed into the world on April 17th at 10:04 pm. A solid 9 lbs, I LOVE IT! I went up to the hospital once Shell started pushing so I could get in there to meet my newest niece as soon as I could!
CONGRATS to Pete and Shell on the newest addition, she's a doll.

We went to visit last Friday and Mya was in LOVE!! Like I've said before, she's obsessed with little babies.
Ashley was trying so hard to climb up.
Can you see that smile and dimple, OMG I die!
Ry and Ava
We love you little muffin, can't wait to see you grow up. Mya, Ashley and you will be the best of friends! LOVE IT! xoxo
Let's party like a 3 year old!
Since Mya's birthday fell on Easter we held off on the huge celebration for the following weekend. I'm all about dragging out birthday's for as long as possible and enjoy dragging out the kids too! Makes them feel extra extra special which I LOVE!
I hope your party was all that you dreamed it to be. We love you so much boo. xoxo
We had a party at my parents house, like we always do since we have no space at our place, plus the girls are extra comfortable there too, which is good. I friggin LOVE getting all ready for their parties and decorating and just all that fun stuff that comes along with it. Now that Mya is old enough to voice the kinda party she wants I wanted to make it what she wanted (no worries I still have Ashley to do my own thang for, lol). I asked her and she kept going back and forth from Beauty and the Beast and Hello Kitty. After she said Beauty and the Beast a few times, I went with it. Of course like a week before the party she came out with Strawberry Shortcake, whatever. She loved it and I loved doing it. Here are some of the decoartions.
These were the favors. We always do a cut out sugar cookie. It's like my moms trademark, lol! She got this princess crown cookie cutter around Mya's 1st birthday. When we decided on Beauty and the Beast, we finally got to whip this cutter out to use! YAY!!! Decorated by yours truly, RYAN BEA! He's the man!
Some of the pics from her previous birthday parties that I can pull out at these shindigs. I also made ones for this year too that I didn't snap pics of.
Talking to Doey (Joey) who called her to wish her a happy birthday party since they just had their little boy, they couldn't make it.
There was the perfect amount of people there and the weather was PERFECTION! Couldn't have asked for it to turn out any better! YAY!
These little twins are seriously the most mellow kids. How can you transfer a sleeping baby in a carseat to a stroller, no clue! But Nicole is an awesome mom and I guess with her being so calm and mellow it has rubbed off on them. They're so sweet.
I remember as a kid, my mom would always have birthday parties centered around arts and crafts. I always loved that. So now I'm doing that for Mya. Since it was a princess theme, I got these princess birdhouses that the kids painted. Good times! Caiden was ready for the arts and crafts.
Cake time!! Mya was SO excited for this part. She LOVES blowing out candles and loves when people sing happy birthday to her. YAY!
Make a wish bean...
And a little video of the singing too!
Since Poppy's birthday is April 11th, we had the grand daughters all sing happy birthday to him too.
Ashley joined in, especially cause honestly, she looks like she could be their mom's kid. She's got red hair!
Kelly giving Ashley her first taste of cupcakes, YUM! As if this kid isn't a bad enough eater, now all she'll want is cupcakes and graham crackers, thanks Kel!
So So crackin me up. This girl can eat! She had a cake pop then marched over to me for a smore pop and I'm sure she coulda fit more in there too! My kinda girl!
Nicole and her boys.
With my god daughter, Brookie
