fathers day weekend

We had a great fathers day weekend. Mya, Ashley and I started it off to our first visit to the Highland Park farmers market this year. I am SO excited to hit it up every Friday with them. When I was home on maternity leave with Mya we used to go every Friday, it was so nice! Now I get to do it with both my girls. We went to Mary's first to hang out and stayed for lunch. Ashley is practicing patting her head while rubbing her belly!

Saturday we took a nice family stroll. I walk every morning with the girls, it's so nice to have Ry join us on the weekends.

Ry has this tree outside of our house that he always does pull ups on. Whenever he does them, Mya begs to be put up into the tree when he's done.

On Fathers Day we headed to NuNu and Pop Pop's for a BBQ. It's so nice that our families mesh so perfectly. Mya LOVES going to NuNu and PopPops too, they got her this bad ass bouncy house for her birthday!

Isn't it crazy how family members can look so much alike. When Ashley was born, people kept asking me how she looked, like Mya but with strawberry blonde hair is what I said. Do you see it now?? Can't stand that adorable sleep position too!

After that I thought that I needed to show you guys 2 other pics (Lori, this is for you). Cause Ashley could also be Ryan and Michael's triplet sister.

And after Mya looked like Ry for so long, she started looking more and more like me when I was a toddler!!!! CRAZY right?!!

Crazy to think that we're parents to 2, sisters at that!! Growing up with 2 brothers, I always wanted a sister. When I found out Ashley was a girl, I was so excited that she would get that. I always love seeing when there are 2 sisters that are so close. I always think of my 2 cousins, AnnMarie and Sue, they're so close and close in age too, I hope that Mya and Ashley are like that. Here are some cute sissy sissy pics of the 2 little girls. Seriously never knew I could love this much, it's insane!!! I can't wait till the 3 of us can go shopping, get mani/pedi's together and just have fun girls nights and weekends together. I love my girls!

Once I had Ashley we called my parents so that they could bring the bean up to meet her! We wanted her there before everyone else got there. When she came in she climbed right up onto my bed. Here was her first look at her newest sister!!!

This video is freakin adorable. About 2 weeks ago we were hanging out upstairs in the girls room and I had to use the bathroom, I put Ashley in her boppy seat and told Mya to keep an eye on her, she's really good with her! I was in the bathroom and heard Mya talking, I ran in to see what was going on and had to haul downstairs to get the flip to catch this, SO FREAKIN CUTE!!!! Mya LOVES being a big sister, she's such a little doll! Ashley is so lucky to have you as a big sister Mya, I love you tons and we really couldn't ask for this whole transition to have been any easier!

Ashley is such a great sleeper! Her sleep positions are so freakin cute too, I almost forgot how simply adorable newborns are (especially when they're yours!)! Here are a few of my favorite positions she sleeps in.
