Easter Festivities

A bit late, but better late than never, right? Easter was alot more fun this year than last year. After having a few 'practice' Easter egg hunts the days leading up to Easter, Mya knew she had to find the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid. We still had to put them right smack in front of her face, and some she still didn't see, it was kinda funny!!!! So when she came down she had her basket AND eggs to find. The night before we kept saying, Mya the Easter Bunny's coming tonight, he's gonna leave you a basket with treats and he's going to hide eggs too! She just kept saying DOWN. She wanted him to stay downstairs! Needless to say, we didn't get a picture of Mya on the Easter Bunny's lap this year, didn't want to torture her, like we did with Santa!
Ok, so here she is coming down, OF COURSE, sporting her flip flops and carrying bubbles.

All ready to head out for the day! Couldn't get her in the sandals I wanted her to wear, but hey, she still looks adorable!

Stopped at Dunkin for her latte...kidding, it's just milk, but she felt pretty cool!

We got to Babci's and Nusi gave her some black jelly beans in her basket! Mya liked them too, YUCK!!!! LOL!

Babci's got a park right down the street. Since it was so nice, we headed down to play for a bit.

She's been asking for 'ponies' lately, a ponytail. I LOVE when she has them in, she even asked Mary for '2 ponies' after seeing a little girl with them in. They don't last TOO long, but they look ADORABLE!

Ry got onto the kiddy swing next to Mya, that lasted about 2 seconds, not too comfortable for an adult! Mya thought it was great!

After Babci's we headed to Mary and Joe's. She wasted no time breaking into her baskets there!

We also celebrated Joey's 22nd Birthday, which was the 25th.

Mya had to help blow out the candles. Joey turned two-two, that's how Mya said it!

Saturday we dyed our Easter eggs. Mya also did this last weekend with Nusi and Pop-pop. So she knew what she was doing!

Daddy helped her place the eggs in the dye.

He let her mix them around a bit too.

This is what happened when I said, Mya just go ahead without daddy's help! YIKES, the water splashed everywhere, it was pretty funny!
