Dancing machine

I think this is from last week. We got into the car to get ice cream but she flipped out every time we tried putting her in the car seat. So we just hung out in the car and she danced away to the music in the back. She's a trip!!!!

Not sure if this is even clear but Mya has been loving her clothes lately, I know I've written that somewhere before. She tries to dress herself, trying to put her pants on is hysterical. Aunt Mary told me that yesterday she was busy for like 10 minutes trying to put her sneakers on, she finally gave up (although she partially had them on) and put them on her hands! NUT!! Last night she was all about her shirts, she put them on and took them off, I got it on tape!!!! Next time I really need to use the flip, it takes better video than my stupid phone.

Mya's first haircut

Saturday we took Mya to get her very first haircut! We took her to Chrissy, my stylist for over 6 years, at Sparks! We didn't really know how she'd be, so we bought an ice pop with us to distract her, great parents huh?!
When we got there and got all seated in the chair, Chrissy went to put the cape on her, Mya was NOT feelin it. Tried to find her hands and was moving all around under it, so I told Chrissy to not even worry about the hair, it was going to be such a little big, no worries!

Off it came and she started! Mya was looking around, checking everyone out while Chrissy was doing her thang.

Few snips here, few there....and you can see the ice pop in her hand...just chillin...

How do they feel??? SO GOOD!!!! Chrissy is AWESOME at what she does...anyone in need of a stylist (female, male, baby) hit her up, Chrissy at Sparks, you won't be disappointed...
This is what we wanted, and we got it!!!! The perfect little bangs with her perfect little pigtails, PERFECTION!!!!! Mya loves it too, no more hair in her eyes!!!

3 Years ago today....

Welcome William Vincent

Last night my very best friend gave birth to her beautiful baby boy, William Vincent. After being in labor for almost 2 days, and pushing for 2 hours, her baby boy was born, and totally worth the wait, he's just perfect!

I was waiting in the waiting room for him to arrive and was SO happy to get to see his adorable face last night. The way he was looking up at his mommy just melted my heart.

Congrats Rachel and Will, we're so happy for you guys to experience the most amazing part of life. He is perfect and you guys are so blessed. Enjoy this new journey!

Kristi's (Pete's friend) birthday was on Saturday, but she didn't turn 30, no no no, she turned 23, so we sang happy birthday to her too!!!!!

a Jets family

I am so proud to say that we ARE a JETS family. Ryan and I were born and raised Jets fans and I couldn't be happier that we click like that, if he was a Giants fan, I'm not sure our relationship would have lasted...Anyway, we get up Sunday morning and I knew Mya was going to be in her Jets green so of course I put mine on too, than I see Ry putting his jersey on, LOVE IT!!!! Totally picture ready!!!

I had just taken the dog beds and blankets out of the dryer and she was NOT letting me put them back in the crate, she wanted nothing more than to play on them, so she got her way!

During Mya's nap on Sunday we recovered our dining room chairs. They were getting SO beat up and we wanted to add some color.
Looking at this pic really makes me realize we have GOT to paint that bathroom door frame, gross!

I LOVE the results. Ry and I both did it, I wouldn't have been able to do this myself with holding the fabric tight while he stapled it in. What's next???

A visit to the farm....

Sunday morning we woke up and it was just beautiful out! After she woke from her nap (and before the Jets game of course) we decided to take Mya somewhere outside to enjoy the weather. First we headed to Colonial park to the playground, NOT IMPRESSED!!! First off there were stink bugs everywhere, GROSS and I guess we're just spoiled by the Middlebush park that's so new and clean! So I said to Ry, why don't we go to the Rutgers Farm on Cook Campus. I remember my parents taking my brothers and I there all the time as kids. Aunt Mary just took Mya too. So we headed over. We were the only ones there, SCORE!!!!! We started off with the horses. Mya is SO funny with them, LOVES horses. Makes the sound (not nay, the one where they vibrate their lips, make sense?) and stomps her foot like them too!!! HYSTERICAL!!!!

She started to get a little scared as it started coming at us and reached back from the fence.

The one with the green leash is Jackie (her name was on her tag), she was so sweet.

Than the other guy wanted some lovin (not sure what his name was, he just had a number on his tag). He was pretty friendly, at first I was a little nervous that they were coming so close so had to step back.

But they were SO friendly and just wanted some TLC.

I was more than happy to give him some!

Mya was still a little nervous, was starring at them but didn't want to put her hand out to pet them.

Than she did!!!!

I even gave kisses!!!! LOL

So Daddy came up to hold Mya, maybe she'll be more comfortable with her big, strong daddy! She reached out and was all ready.

Till he moved right in, than she moved back, lol!

After a while she got more comfortable and was loving them!

Ry put her down so we could see the size difference between the 2, WOW!!! She's looking up at him like DAMN you're BIG!!! She wouldn't let go of daddy, CUTE!

She was cracking up here, I was taking her foot and putting it close to the goat telling her the goat was gonna get her toes, CRACKING UP....Belly laughs like you would NOT believe!! LOVE THOSE LAUGHS!!!!
