pizza night

Wednesday night we had a pizza night with Nusi and Grand-daddy caddy (this name is WAY TOO LONG for Mya to say, we need to think of a shorter one, maybe just Caddy???). I swear Mya KNOWS that Caddy got her the baseball mitt and ball cause whenever he's over, she'll throw a ball at him. It's SO CUTE!!!!

Mya's been doing a fishy face when we ask her what the fishy does!! HOW STINKIN CUTE IS THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the first tomato!!!!!

I picked my very first red cherry tomato from our garden!!!!! I picked it on Wednesday and let Mya taste it too. I thought it was DELISH, Mya thought otherwise, see for yourself!

zoo time

Tuesday, since I was off I decided to take Mya to the Turtle Back Zoo. We took her for the first time in May and it was the PERFECT size!!!! Not too big (like the Bronx Zoo) and not too small (like Johnson Park). It was really nice out in the morning too and I figured it'd be empty since it was a Tuesday. We got there at 10:15 (it opens at 10, PERFECT) and I noticed all these buses dropping off camps, GREAT!!!! Well, it just so happened that we started off going in opposite directions, so it worked out PERFECTLY!!!!!

Now, doesn't she look SO happy to be here!!!!!!! HAHA, this is how she is when I put her in the stroller. The child wants to be free!!!

The first animals are the penguins, PERFECT, her FAVORITE!!!!! NO KIDDING, we stood here for at least 15 minutes. I swear she was just standing there starring and making all these happy noises, it was so funny! Every time I said, ok, lets go see the prairie dogs she'd shake her head no!!!! She is all about shaking her head for yes and no now!

OK, off to the prairie dogs. Isn't it crazy how much they grow in just 3 months!!! This is from Tuesday.

Now to see the bear, which was hiding. Mya was lookin though, with her snack and all!

See, I told you to slow down. The funniest part is that she didn't let go of the bag or her puffer the entire time!!!! LOVES her food!!

Than to the bird sanctuary. It was nearly impossible to get a good pic of this cause she was sitting on my knee. But she was LOVING the birdies. They're SO pretty!

Than to the chickens. I wish I'd had my video camera cause she was dancing to the sounds that the chickens were making, it was hysterical!!!!

Than a little boy and girl came along. She got all excited!

So they were all checking out the chicken together. Or the other kids were just watching her dance thinking what a NUT she is!!!!!!

And that was our fun filled Tuesday. It was so fun being home with her and spending some QT mom and Mya time. I miss that so much so when I do get the chance to spend alone time with her for an entire day, I make the most of it and don't take any second for granted. She's growing so fast before our eyes and I love taking every second of it in. I can't believe how much I truly love this girl, everything she does just amazes me! Being a mother is the greatest gift of all. I love you peanut and even though you won't remember these days, I'll have stories upon stories and pictures upon millions of pictures to let you know how fun every second has been!!!!!

a day at the beach

This past Monday and Tuesday I took off to spend some time with the bean and so that Mary could enjoy a few days of her birthday week! On Monday, Maggie, Mya and I headed down to Ship Bottom to hit the beach with our other cousins, AnnMarie and Susie and Susie's 2 boys, Danny and Sonny. The weather couldn't have been more beautiful! We had SO MUCH FUN!!!!

LOVES!

She was having SO MUCH FUN!!!! This child has NO fear of the ocean. At one point, she was sitting on the shoreline and a wave completely knocked her over. She got right back up and didn't even flinch. Actually she was licking her lips like crazy, must've liked the taste of the salt water!!!! NUT!!!

Danny found a dead fish. Here he is showing him off, and his name is Henning. He was hysterical with this thing. He carried him everywhere, than filled his bucket with water and put him in there. Mya was intrigued too, he even let her hold it. Sonny got to hold it too. Than all of the sudden the damn pigeons all swooped down, we looked in the bucket and he was gone, CRAZY!!!!
